The game itself is fine. Its messages are pretty cool but the writing isn’t always the best. But what really put me in a bad mood was the last chase scene. I was stuck on that forever. Shoutout to the guy on YouTube who did a whole walkthrough of it, what a lifesaver.
My first soulsborne game was demon's souls remake. Funny how that works. I see why it's on the bottom of everyone's list but this defined my summer of 2021
People shit on this game but it really is one of the best of all time. There’s so many themes here that just make you think about perspectives and the messiness of the human mind. Made naughty dog my favorite studio.
Need more games that aren’t afraid to be super long and make a wildly intricate open world. Story is one of the best (still didn’t deserve goty 2018 tho)
We need more AAA studios putting in the work to make amazing games like this. I love the slow burn of this story and how it takes its time. It’s so epic but so personal.
Even better than the first. So many incredible high stakes moments, one after the other just ramming you with perfection. Story and scale come together here to create an experience like no other
