Essentially a re-release of 2 so they could parade it around as a new LBP on a new console.

Welp, he did it. Pinned me right there in the middle of the ring. A bold bada** blasphemous masterpiece.

This has been added to my top 5 next to Outer Wilds and Return of the Obra Dinn.

A fantastic arthouse film experience made for a crowd that will not, or ever, appreciate something as bold and slow burning as this.

Jeanne Dielman energy.

As a gamer I was upset at all of the empty space. But as a fan of arthouse films I've never seen anything like this.

Even though there was alot of empty space (which can and should be fast forwarded through), subtle face expressions can reveal alot of information. It was interesting connecting the dots between responses and I found it more satisfying than "her story" honestly. It felt more believable and personal. There is a great amount of variety when it comes to the scenes displayed. Intense moments, genuinely heartbreaking bonds, twists, an array of different personalities, and even uncomfortable intimacy. When you find an important scene it definitely feels important and revealing. Then you are left beating your head when one that didn't seem important had crucial information because of your own sheer impatience.

The performances were surprisingly top notch. What's more impressive are the very long takes. Long takes like this require alot of focus/planning. Even the little girl was doing great.

This kind of storytelling is very special, and can only be done through gaming. In my opinion it's better than "Her Story" and i cant wait to check out "Immortality". Chronologically, this is "Memento" on drugs and I applaud the audacity.

Banger👏freakin👏soundtrack👏

The soundtrack has blasted this game past the moon into the eternal void of space where it will be discovered, studied, and envied by aliens that wish they could make consistently good banger soundtracks.

Even after completing the game Lady Butterfly was still the hardest for me.

I didn't grow up playing this.

But its charm makes me feel like a child near a warm fire and christmas tree, reading an I-Spy book.

Somehow, the game resonates a raw feeling of wonder.

My first souls game. I immediately played every other fromsoft game after beating it.

Am I now turtley enough for the turtle club?

How does this game exist? I don't even believe what I played was a real thing.

Truly ahead of its time. A banger in every imaginable way.

Crazy that everybody played this for free and bundled with a racing game nobody remembers.

2022

Puzzles were a little too difficult (specifically for collecting the pages). But that's a skill issue on my part technically.

Absolutely legendary game for me. Everything has purpose even down to the design of the city itself. Immersing the player by purposefully restricting them.

Every plasmid is useful, every turret is useful, upgrades, exploration, even audio diaries. And in the end, it's a 4th wall breaking love letter between the player and developers.

They added more balls at the batting cages. That's already a huge W.

But seriously the emphasis on baton pass in this version is top notch game design. Bosses actually felt like puzzles which was fascinating.

Pure style and ease....... stease.

I appreciate it's bold direction.

Surprisingly enjoyed this. I wish it had better ways to arrange the videos. My only issue with the story is that what it's implying is very unbelievable. I feel like my personal theory that has less evidence is actually more probable. Very interested in his other games now.

After this, Lucas Pope became my inspiration.
