It really is that good. The story is the best of any JRPG I've played, and the main group is iconic. The character design is not as over-the-top as 2, making this game more approachable for everyone as well. The battle system is excellent, and all of the quality-of-life improvements the Definitive Edition brings make this the best way to experience it in all of its glory.

Ignoring the memes, Among Us is actually a really fun party game - there's a reason it became the biggest hit of 2020! Each round is random enough that it never becomes boring if played in limited sessions. Its lack of maps and a good public multiplayer mode hold in back from infinite replayability.

I've spent hours making games in this that no one will ever play

"This game blows!"

Zip Lash is a generic 2D platformer with some interesting ideas. I liked the pressure of the battery timer and the cute, but admittedly distasteful, product placement. On the other hand, some of its ideas, like the randomized stage select, are so baffling that's it's hard to see how this game made it out of testing.

I actually just replayed this game recently, and it aged fairly well. It's definitely the most creative NSMB game in terms of level design. I was surprised by how many features and gimmicks appeared only in this title and not the others. I also enjoyed the creative (non-Koopaling) bosses and optional challenge routes (Mini Mushroom boss fights are a great idea).

What more can I say about Super Star that hasn't already been said? It's a classic for a reason, and is still solid enough to replay to this day.

I just got Final Fantasy 16, so obviously that meant I had to replay Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

I picked up the 3DS version from a convention I went to in May, and decided on a whim to give it a chance over July 4th weekend. It was really impressive! The game fits naturally on the 3DS, and the 3D effect really helps the puzzles come to life. It's not particularly challenging (or super engaging past Book 2), but it's a fun little experiment. An underrated 3DS gem.

This game is really ahead of its time. Features open-world level selection from the start and has a lot of truly unique ideas the series has since strayed away from. It's not too difficult and the bosses are a joke. Overall a really fun game that's aged like wine. Not a fancy wine, but pleasant to bust out every once in a while.

Fun!!!!!! I had a smile the whole time playing this game. Second-best looking Mario game right behind Odyssey. I completed the game 100% in four-player mode with all my roommates. The updated multiplayer mode is done surprisingly well, but it does trivialize the games' difficulty. Disappointed in repeated Wonder effects and lackluster boss battles, but the variety of normal levels makes up for it.

A Pokemon fighting game is such a genius concept - it sucks this was relegated to a dying Wii U, or it likely would've been more successful and memorable. I was always a big fan of the core fighting mechanics and I remember the online being really good. The single-player story and VA is pitiful, however.

Pokemon series junk food. The laughable difficulty makes you feel like you're on a power trip the whole time, and it's great. Excellent Pokemon variety makes repeated playthroughs a lot of fun. I also really like Kalos' design a lot. The OST is great as always.

I like Galaxy's moody atmosphere as much as the next guy, but I will always rather come back to 2. It has even more stand-out levels than 1, and the soundtrack is just as iconic (to me, at least). I really can't decide which one is better.

This game requires so much of my time and attention that I simply do not have. I'm sure it's fun after a certain point, but I didn't reach it fast enough for it to capture me like it did to so many others.

The new characters were fun, but it didn't stand out enough in the realm of fighting games to stay relevant past the first year.

Damn this game goes crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
