Played a ton as a kid at my cousin's house. Never beat 100% but I've seen enough siglemic speedruns to know enough about the game. Doesn't hold up in the present day but then it doesn't need to.

Fun game but by the time I finished I had my fill - no desire to replay at the moment.

There isn't another game like this. Played for our Game Club for Jan. 24. Almost everyone loved it.

Way too short to justify the price tag. By the time I rated this there was no DLC. Still, the swinging was even better than the previous entry.

Beautiful art direction - I barely scratched the surface of the DLC. Base game is still plenty. Only 3 stores purely for personal preference.

Great follow-up to 2018, beautiful game, much more fleshed out than its predecessor.

My first Soulsbourne - an unforgettable experience. I'll remember fondly the hours I spent trying to beat Lady Butterfly.

Great transition for Kratos - kind of a weak ending from a combat standpoint, but a great story beat to end on.

Took me a few attempts to get into but it was worth it. Hilarious, dramatic, witty.

A return-to-form for the series. A few weaknesses in the quest gameplay loop but combat is solid, voice acting is peak, and story is as quality as old Final Fantasy.

2022

The intrigue wears off fast then it becomes a clunky walking simulator.

Punchy combat if a bit basic - Swinging around town is the primary seller

A platformer you can really sink your teeth into; the sort of freedom I felt with my first ever platformer

Fun for a few sessions, no long-term potential for me
