A racing game that even non-car nerds can love, and a definite improvement on Forza Horizon 4.

Brings me no pleasure to report that there is a Halo campaign that actively sucks. The gunplay is still good (arguably a little better than Halo 4's), but the level design is more tedious than usual and the story is bad even by Halo's standards.

Glad to get back to Master Chief and Cortana, especially with some added depth, even if the story, guns, and enemies are somewhat lacking.

Finally, after starting a Dragon Age series playthrough two years ago, I came back and finished Inquisition. Honestly, I think it's an improvement on the previous Dragon Ages and Bioware's last great game, even if the open worlds feel a bit lacking in interest.

Not quite as uniquely atmospheric as the original, but it's still more Subnautica!

Shame that I think got through this one the quickest of any of the Castlevanias, because it's definitely the best one I've played since Symphony of the Night.

Finally, after multiple halted playthroughs over the years where I've lost save files and gotten stuck, I've finally finished Earthbound! And, it's as weird and wonderful and surprisingly emotional as I've heard.

I like it more than Circle of the Moon, since it's more like Symphony of the Night. However, it is arguably too much like Symphony of the Night and not as much its own game.

Gotta say... big step down from Symphony of the Night.

I started a Zelda marathon all the way back in February for Zelda's 35th anniversary (and to will Breath of the Wild 2 to a release date). Now, after 12 games (sorry I don't have all of them; I'm missing a lot of the portable ones), I've finally completed my marathon and BOTW 2 got a release date for next year! I'm happy for all of that, since I got to play Zelda games I had never gotten around to (like The Minish Cap and A Link Between Worlds) and relive old favorites (like Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker. Though Breath of the Wild may never quite replicate the exact feeling of playing it for the first time and making those discoveries and feeling those emotions, I still had a lovely time with it once again. Here's hoping that Breath of the Wild 2 will be just as exciting and memorable as the first one.

Weird that Demon's Souls will never get the recognition that Dark Souls gets for starting this genre, but, admittedly, Dark Souls does feel like a perfected version.

Finished it just minutes before Psychonauts 2 came out!
