Not a fan translation: you can buy it on Androids and iOS now!
Resident Evie, Cirosan, and nikita600. PSX.

Resident Evie was the original translator of the story and went to incredible effort to communicate the wider text. Her original translation is really masterful. However, the game wasn't able to contain the entire english script. Below, you can see the original patch that worked to find a compromise between this and the game's structure.
Nikita and Cirosan, with Evie's permission, used this translation to create a new localization attempt. Nikita developed a compression tool that would fit much more of the game's script. Cirosan edited and rewrote the script to fit easier within Nikita's new algorithm while still maintaining the story's coherence and structure. Its a stunning collaborative effort that took years of effort and communication across national borders. These translations would not be possible without the work of each individual involved.

Ihatovo Monogatari belongs here! One of the most beautifully written games I've ever played, fan-translated or otherwise.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure by Geofront (so good they were asked to partner up by NIS America for the official releases)!
Garage is also on PC/Steam too.
policenauts link sends to a pokemon game translation
