Words cannot express how much I love this game and the world created by Mike Pondsmith. Just go play it. Cyberpunk 2077 and the surrounding media such as the comics and the Edgerunners anime has made me feel so many things and it may be one of my favorite games ever. Just go play it. Go watch Edgerunners after. Go read the comics. Go read Firestorm. It's a world worth exploring.

SIGNALIS is a love letter to Resident Evil 1 with it's own modern take on things.
It is rare that a survival horror game comes out and I have any interest at all in it. SIGNALIS is one of those. It reminds me how much I love psychological horror. This game can be genuinely terrifying on your first playthrough. I cannot recommend it enough.

I was playing this game for a while after installing Tfix because the game WOULD NOT work. The game had a completely black screen when starting the tutorial or any chapter and Tfix solved the issue. That worked for a while and I was having a fine but frustrating time with the gameplay, but then after a few days I came back to it and it just doesn't work when I load a save anymore. I'm abandoning this game. Hopefully the second game actually works. So glad I got this for like $1.

This game means so much to me words cannot describe... But I'll be damned if I don't try!
FFXIV is very easy to get into even if you have never played another MMORPG. There's no manual stat allocation or choosing abilities or anything like that, which also means that there's no fear of messing up your build or anything. Most of the progression is through Main Scenario Quests(MSQ), leveling, and gear. The best part of it is that you can FREELY SWITCH to ANY job you have unlocked. No need to make like 20 alts to try different jobs.

The gameplay is more focused on MSQ content as well as linear 4 person dungeons and 8 person Trials. Trials are like a big boss fight with interesting mechanics that get more complicated the newer the content, and usually has a banger OST. Each trial has a harder version too, called an EX Trial, and they're usually much harder than the regular version, as well as at level cap for that expansion.

FFXIV has always been described as an RPG first and an MMO second. The story is very very good, but you need to get through the entirety of A Realm Reborn(the base game) and like half of Heavensward(the first expansion). That's like 100 hours... BUT if you can put in that 100 hours, the next 500+ will be well worth it. I think making friends in-game really helped me with not dropping off during those first few hours. The last thing is each duty, like a dungeon or trial, has a maximum level that you sync down to. It may seem odd at first, but this way not only can new players enjoy the content as intended, but so can those who are already well past the level of the duty. It wouldn't be any fun going into the climactic final trial of like Shadowbringers, a very good and emotionally heavy expansion, for the first time just to have the party kill it in like 5 seconds flat. Trust me, It's great.

As for the community, while it does have some stand out bad eggs, the overwhelming majority of the community are kind and caring folk that are especially welcome to new players, so you can always ask other people for help and most of the time you can get a straight answer. The community is probably the second shining star of the game next to MSQ. I have made many good friends in this game and really feel like I'm part of the community. I even used to be more introverted but FFXIV has made me come out of my shell.

FFXIV feels like home to me, and I implore you to try it if you are even remotely interested in what I just spewed over this review. Maybe you'll find yourself a second home as well. <3

Just like Blue Shift, Opposing Forces is a great expansion to Half Life 1. There's a lot more in this, but I found it to be not as good as Blue Shift in terms of pacing. I found that the squad members you can bring along SUCK at path finding. They would often get stuck or stop following you and I found it extremely annoying. I did like the new variety of weapons that it brings. That was really good. I can see why everyone likes it the most, but I feel that the changed arsenal and the increased playtime more than makes up for the issues I have with it. Overall a great time still, and I very much recommend it, of course that is if you've played Half-Life 1.

Such a good game(played with guitar). I don't need to explain this game. The song selection is pretty good. There were some certified bops.

Fuck Barracuda. That song sucks so much.

Emulated with Xenia
I honestly expected worse going into this one. Turned out, it's actually pretty okay parody of GTA that tried to do it's own thing as well, and I'd say they succeeded

I had some big problems with it though. But none of them are a deal breaker for me. The first of which are some of the janky systems such as having to buy the gun again to get more ammo for it if you really wanted to have a specific gun, or the fact that vehicles needed to be repaired which wouldn't be a problem if you could just do it in your garage with vehicles that aren't fully broken. The lack of a check-mark on some of the activities to indicate completion also sucked. Also the lack of mission checkpoints made some missions an absolute chore.

As for the story, there's not much substance. There are some golden one liners though, and the comedy in the game is really goods overall. I don't appreciate how they treat women though, but it is a product of it's time so I can't be too hard on it there. I appreciate the silent protagonist, and some of the times when they spoke occasionally really kinda didn't feel right. Although the "hepatitis" line was really good so all is forgiven. I'm not gonna fault you for not being able to choose gender but it would have been nice to play as a girl cause you know, I am one.

For sure gonna play RS2.

I live in a household where sitting is prohibited even at school due to religious reasons. I was always so envious watching all my friends sit in their own chairs. It was like being homeless and in the rain with no shelter. Now that I found this 2003 Toshiba laptop in a ditch by my high school, I can have my own chairs to call home.

Hitman: Contracts is the third installment in the franchise and a complete refinement of what was built up from Codename 47 and Silent Assassin. The graphics just get even better and now look quite good in my opinion.
The game is very atmospheric and while the game lacks any important story, I would say that it's a really good game, the best so far. Despite the oddly low resolution cutscenes and the bad facial animations and stiff dialogue, the level design is fantastic and holds up extremely well. A very good game if you don't mind some small antiquated design.

Overall really good. There were occasionally times where I was frustrated because I couldn't figure out what to do, and I had to use a guide like twice, and there were occasional difficulty spikes and BS enemies as to be expected with these older titles, but I'm glad I played this. Also yea. Zen sucks ass. And the final boss too. Overall great pacing though.

If you're looking for more Borderlands after Borderlands 2, or let alone 3, this is not it. It's just a really messed BL3. The writing also did not get better, IT GOT WORSE. Loot drop RNG start out terrible, and only increases through getting collectable dice. This means you start out consistently getting garbage loot which makes enemies feel like damage sponges, and melee weapons are basically useless. All of the abilities feel cool on paper but the execution is terrible. Just go play Borderlands 2 again. Or get it. It's usually really cheap.

Great open world, solid story, okay combat, great gear progression, and amazing iconic side quests. There's so much to do, and so much replayability. This will forever be one of my favorite games ever. Something about being a broken overpowered specialized monster in terms of stats in the end is just great honestly.

THIS GAME IS STILL BETTER THAN SKYRIM I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL BUT IF I HAVE TO DO THE SEWERS ENTRANCE ONE MORE TIME I--[End of review]

I put in way too much time into this game before burning out on it. It's really good, but I just don't feel the need to come back to it. There's just so many things that annoyed me. Death by a thousand cuts I suppose. At least it's nice looking.

It's just Portal with ray tracing... AND a new coat of paint!
I would gibe it the same rating as Portal, however, while it does look pretty as hell, it ran TERRIBLY on minimum settings on my 3060ti. How?? I got less than 30fps on MINIMUM SETTINGS. I feel very conflicted about this.
