Nier Automata happened to be one of its kind. Somehow one of the best developers at action games happened to be working with one of the quirkiest directors that knows HOW to write an outstanding story. And together they created this. Not without its flaws, but it's almost perfect.
Celeste wanted to tell something way deep than its gameplay. It kind of suceeded. I just found platforms to be maybe too difficult. But that's part of what they wanted to tell.
It was totally a welcome surprise, being able to really throw pokeballs and catch pokemon in the wild. I think that's better here than in Scarlet/Violet. Also loved the new combat, tbh. Everything else is just mediocre.
