Play Patapon 2, this one is basically a rough draft, and honestly not fun to play

how tf do people get good at these game... I just wanna be cool.

I've never beaten this game in spite of the more than 200 hours I've spent trying to.

I will never come to comprehend how people play these games. shit is beyond me. I've never felt dumber than dying to the same four wild animals for the 14th time in a row.

thing is, this game makes me WANT to be good at crpgs.
I've read guides that tell ya all about how to properly get your skills together and how/when to use stuff, it's all lost on me.

This is one of those rare games that makes me want to like a genre that is truly beyond me.

One of the first psp games I beat as a kid, man did this game kick ass.
really made the little portable feel like a fucking POWERHOUSE.

it's honestly still really kickass as an adult, I've started to find the classic GoW games kinda slow these days. but this one doesn't overstay it's welcome like the full console games.

This game vibes super hard.
It's one of those early point-and-click adventures with some real MOON logic, but the story and animation MORE than makeup for the seven hundred times you'll be opening a walkthrough.

it is also WHOLE ASS on the DS... do not play it on the ds... I just thinkly it's endlessly funny that they thought to do such a thing... so I beat it there as well.

The cutest, comfiest little wiiware game.

It's a sort of city-sim adventure game where instead of going out and adventuring, you play the king.
you hire the adventurers, pay them, and send them on missions.

It's your job to make the city function as it grows and explores the surrounding lands.

at certain points in the games progression story beats are introduced leading towards a specific conclusion.

It's a game that's easily enjoyed but not easily beaten.

As a kid i pumped hours into it never getting very far, but there's no real fail state so you can kinda flounder indefinitely and still have a great time.

To actually beat it, I came back as an adult on an emulator and a guide. Actually trying to win gets a little tedious and it's not SUPER worth it, other than seeing the last phases of city progression.

The plot is very cute, but it's hardly worth the effort.

I really think this game could have been the next harvest moon if square had given it the effort.

Ok but did you know they also made LCD games and they were also extremely painful

This was my FIRST final fantasy game, and not for sensible reasons.

What do you mean this game released on 'real' consoles?

these games were masterpieces, leave me alone

NEVER GO BACK TO THIS GAME UNLESS YOU WANNA FEEL EXTREMELY OLD

OMG ITS SO CRUSTY MY FUCKING EYES

like every ds owner i was legally obliged to beat this game before proceeding.

it's aight.
