A fascinating, artful exploration of community, history, family and religion. Each character has rich interesting dialogue, their own beliefs and values, and the time progressing highlights that every person's legacy has an impact on the people who come after them.
The ending is one of the most beautiful I have experienced in a game, showing the mural, representing how it is important to discuss, interpret, and depict history. Also, the final point, the idea that old Andreas inspired young Andreas to become an artist is just a fantastic representation of the game's themes and ideas.

Incredible, reminds me very much of Museum of Other Realities. I'm not even a fan of Radiohead (don't think I'd listened to a single one of their songs before playing this) but the experience itself is fantastic, artistic, and at some points awe inspiring. Definitely worth playing.

Extremely good. Incredible effort has been put into every aspect of this game, most exceptionally the finale where the games for all the scrybes were shown, really makes the game feel huge and like there's so much more you could have seen.

Might be interesting if I was well read on the philosphy of art, but I'm not. Mfs need to get off twitter and start making games.

I've been following this game since I finished Going Under and it was still being referred to as "Game 2" on the Aggro Crab discord. I'm so glad I did, because this game is fantastic. Amazing level design, it reminds me a lot of the vibrant colours and atmosphere of Hi-Fi Rush. The combat is fun and challenging and the shells are useful and fun to experiment with in combat.

I will admit, there are a few rough edges here and there. Some minor bugs, some sequence breaking/dialogue out of order, but it's nothing that would make me consider this game any worse. Hopefully most if not all of that will be fixed in patches anyway. Additionally, considering they did a DLC/content update for Going Under I wouldn't be surprised if they do some DLC/bonus boss fights later on too, or if not that at least a proper NG+ mode.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this game. I'm glad this game is getting pretty popular too since I know the Aggro Crab team deserve this success, the game is made with passion and it really shows.

Gave up after it became a metroidvania, maybe I'll get back to it at some point. Just didn't like the backtracking (usually not a problem for me).

Mod this shit immediately to softlock your GPU

It's a really good and interesting RPG, but I just couldn't bring myself to keep playing after 2 or 3 party wipes. I think I'm just terrible at the game tbh.

I quite enjoy it, it's a shame my friends don't.

First steam game I ever bought. Incredibly creative idea for a game, and really fun too.

Fun for a bit with friends, but I bounced off it pretty quickly after a good few runs. I can see why people have racked up hundreds of hours, but I can't see myself doing that.

Does what it does, well. Nothing hugely new or innovative for the genre, but fun nonetheless.

Been following this game since it was twitter gifs. Very enjoyable.

You expect me to rate every board game (past, present and future) in a single review???
