So honestly I did not expect a ton out of this game, I mainly picked it up because I tend to enjoy the non-typical Mario franchise games. Yes I was able to beat this game in around 15 hours (not completionist but got a lot done) and the loading screens looked like they were struggling but overall this actually was a lot of fun and a nice change of pace for me, not playing a 100 hour JRPG where I need to kill God at the end is nice every once and a while. Also one level is called "Cowgirl at Dusk" which unfortunately made me think of my ex.

Great start for a wonderful franchise, I wish that they did something different for the items. Like instead of punishing you for using items that are a programmed part of the game!? that instead they gave you a bonus for not using them.

This game does the interesting thing where they nab elements of persona to blend into the fire emblem formula. The story was okay over all and I loved the variety of students and their interactions, including between each other; you just have to keep in the back of your mind that the protagonist is lowkey Grooming these kids both for battle and one to be your love interest. Points for finally including some same sex couples, but you could have done more you fucking cowards.

Omg this game was amazing. This game feels like what they were trying to attempt with the Last Guardian where you control a large beast and a child solving puzzles to protect the girl from a world out to get her. The aesthetic of being a storybook was amazing, the twist final boss was a surprise (albeit a bitch of a fight) and just an excellent entry into the lore of Cereza as a whole.

Yoko Taro is a genius who knows EXACTLY how to scratch that itch of a philosophical quandary of what it means to be human, and if you need a reason to be alive. This is the Morose shit I love.

My Game of the Year for 2022, no shade to Elden Ring but this game was everything I wanted it to be. Combat so smooth it felt like it lubed silicone, a multiverse story that wasn't stupid as all get out, and some masterful set pieces this was an excellent game in almost every regard. The sequel baiting where they're pulling a Devil May Cry where the 4th game is a new younger punk protagonist is lame but if you dont finish the credits you wont have to deal with it.

Alola is a fun region but Z moves aren't it. Oddly enough my favourite mechanic was giving my pokemon beans to make them happy, healthy and strong. Solgaleo was a nice Legendary and the arc you go through to get them is very narratively fullfilling but they tried to change the formula and it missed most it's marks.

Don't get me wrong, I love Aqua, but this wasnt a game, this was a demo for the Kingdom Hearts 3 engine. Plus the things it wanted from you to complete it was asnine or annoying at best. The fact I need to play it again to get my trophies back hurts my soul

Why is it so common for Otome games to involve most of the party to be dead? What is so tantalizing about a romance blooming in purgatory? The art style is nice, there are some very interesting dynamics between some characters but the Heroine left a lot to be desired.

Finally a Final Fantasy character who calls out that the power of friendship sounds corny as hell. Squall and Quistis are joining my pantheon of the best Final Fantasy characters ever, so much so I now own a Squall Plush. Against my better judgement I will say that I did beat the entire game without playing Triple Triad, I had no time for that, I was busy getting all the Summons.

Give me a dark fantasy anyday and the masterful blending of the familiar Final Fantasy hallmarks with a more serious plot and some spectacular set pieces to show that Final Fantasy is ready to hang with the big kids

This was so fun! One of the last games that came out on the 3ds and showed a strong ending for the console. Being able to make your own map on the touch screen as you explore is the best use of the touch screen as a mechanic ever full fucking stop. The ability to mix characters from the 3 big persona games (sorry 1 and 2 maybe someday you'll get your time in the sun) was also great and made you want to mess around with your team .

A breath of fresh air (no pun intended) for the Zelda Franchise with great mechanics, excellent combat and fun characters. The world needed something more to feel less empty though.

A PERFECT sequel, it takes what people loved from the first one and interates on it. Darker story is always a yes in my book. The only thing I didn't like was some things from BOTW being shockingly missing.

Got hooked on the anime and when I came to play the game it didn't disappoint. What a fun take on the courtroom drama visual novel with interesting characters, great crimes and nice twists. I still quote this game to this day
