Games That Are Terrible to Stream
I have found through experience that these games bring in the worst Twitch chatters.
This is just a vent in jest. If you can relate to this, godspeed on your adventure.
If you're a chatter like this, please seek therapy.

This is so brilliant
@NOWITSREYNTIME17 "Are you at THAT part yet?" 🤔
any sonic game ever 😭
Fighting games...
these notes have me CACKLING btw
@Lemonstrade I don't have much experience with the fighting genre but I can only imagine.
the worst chat ive ever seen in a twitch stream was while this one guy was playing Home Saftey Hotline. Its like a deduction game so the chat was naturally taking guesses as to what the correct answer was, except that the other half of the people there (and the mods) took it as backseating so one person would be like "oh i think its this (-:" and then 18 people would scream at them in response. This went on till near the end of the stream, where no one was talking about anything because there was literally nothing else to say about the gameplay.

this is hilarious
I remember the voice actor for Alm in Fire Emblem echoes started streaming him and a couple of the other vas for the game (I think celica and leon's to be specific) playing the game and literally every night I lie awake in my bed feeling awful bc for every stream I was backseating them soooo hard and eventually he just stopped streaming the game and it was most likely my fault
Like none of them had ever played a fire emblem game before or any srpg and being like 16 i was like: "ok i gotta help them bc they dont know how to play and i dont want them to lose any units" and so like every five minutes i was sending paragraphs in their chat telling them exactly what to do and i only stopped like four streams in when i noticed they were all visibly annoyed at me...
its probably the thing ive done that most actively haunts me the most, when i die im just going to be reliving those streams over and over again forever

@Ninjabunny LOL. You at least realize now how it came across and that's good. Don't beat yourself up too much about it, you were trying to be helpful and they probably just didn't know how to ask you to stop. You were also young! 😅
First I realized you were a streamer and I thought 'Oh that's sick!' but then I realized that all of these are probably from personal experience... Sorry you've had to deal with so many annoying twitch chats.
lego island
@moschidae was it Wayne? I've noticed sometimes that his chat can get really aggressive with people over small shit
I would probably be the Hades chatter at least once, I love suggesting builds; might have to slap my wrist to snap me out of my stupor.
I would mock and belittle anyone calling Ashley mean words. They deserve to understand how little their life means.

@Snigglegros yeaaa it was Wayne. Ive noticed with a lot of more accepting streamers that they tend to get an incredibly abrasive following, for some reason. With him its a bit better nowadays but boyy when he first started... honestly id rather deal with any of the chatters on the list above than have 2 deal with ppl screamin at wayne to make a fursona and asking if he would fuck jerma
PLEASE MAKE MORE CONTENT LIKE THIS I LOVE THIS LIST SO MUCH BRO
I've never even been on Twitch but this might be one of the best lists I've seen on this website.
Also, you could probably put any mainline Pokemon game there because I swear, something about the mainline Pokemon games attracts the most annoying groups of people in any livestream chat or comments section

These are amazing and so true it hurts
Maybe I'm part of the problem but I'd love to have a chat like that just to rip into them @moschidae
youd think smash is good to stream but then you realize half of the 90 characters are CORNY
The level of storytelling on display here is fucking phenomenal, good lord.
as another backloggd streamerman ive always found the worst stream games to not entirely be the ones that have bad chatters but rather the ones that arent that interesting to watch as a viewer, usually the stuff that drags on for a bit longer than it should and the chat is just bored 90% of the time
that being said i did consistently have a dude show up in my chat when i was playing the first two ninja gaiden reboots that was kinda an ass about how he was such a good player on the game and that i sucked at playing it and the dude simultaneously tried to invalidate my frustrations with the usual "the game is well designed, you suck, skill issue, git gud" AS WELL as providing no useful info on how to play better despite being so self-proclaimedly good because "its entertaining to watch you suffer". That dude was only in the ninja gaiden streams and nowhere else
conversely i had a dude show up while i was streaming skyward sword and every time i mentioned an aspect of the game that felt like padding they got really defensive about it and kept insisting that its the creators artistic vision and that people misunderstand media as a whole, then going on some absolute madman ramble about how nobody understands auteurs in media using lego fucking star wars as an example
twitch randos can be wildin

I love the Danganronpa series, but it has the worst fanbase and they are committed to finding streamers playing it for the first time just to spoil everything. A friend of mine had his chat settings to where you couldn't send anything unless you were following for a week and the amount of people who would follow and come back a week later to say what happens at the end was staggering.
Skyrim attracts a lot of holier-than-thou Morrowind players and people who debate Stormcloaks vs Imperials very similarly to Caeser's Legion apologists
