the amount of 'game analysts' that try to pass off its obtuse design as subversive and brilliant made me hate this game with a burning passion (theres no defensible position for 'burn random spots to find caves'), which is a shame cause I think the rest of the experience can shine at times in spite of that. Bring a guide with and there's a somewhat nice time to be had here.

You can only play as 5 apes, not 64 as the title suggests. Would be a lot better if the game wasn't a backtracking slog

you're not gonna like this game, but if you stick with it and let the stockholm syndrome kick in after a while you'll see why it's a masterpiece. pure insanity

Favorite Souls game. Jank, weird, mysterious, it just appeals to me in such a precise way.

Arkane in top form. Deserved better reception and sales.

I'm home sick and I played this all day, but I don't think I'll play it tomorrow. It is the oatmeal of video games. As oatmeals go it's tasty enough, but it's never going to be anything more than bland and homogeneous. Also this particular oatmeal adores cops and the surveillance state to an absurd degree.
