Another great starting point for traditional roguelikes. This game is great in that it removes so much of the luck found in common rogues such as TBoI, RoR2, or StS and replaces it with complete freedom to play whatever build you want right now. The downside is overwhelming a new player and leaving them feeling like they're opening netflix and finding nothing good to watch.

I simply do not understand the hype for this game. It's all done well, and the moment-to-moment gameplay is fun, but so many runs just feel the exact same. I never feel like I'm creating a build or crafting a great loadout which is what I'm personally looking for in a good roguelike.

This is a wonderful little game. It's great in concept and execution, and the pricepoint makes it a no-brainer. Simple and executed well.

This game was honestly just boring to me. If it weren't for Chris' incredible soundtrack (as usual) I would've quit playing sooner but I just kept waiting for something to spice up the gameplay which hasn't come (yet). It's mechanics are just very simple. It's not bad, just overly simplistic in my opinion.

2017

This game is hands down one of the best party games of all time. I love jackbox as much as the next guy, but Crawl perfectly balances the desires of a gamer (depth) with the simplicity for a layman (there are literally 2 buttons). The handicap mechanics are so strong yet fair and you never feel cheated. It's a wonderful game and I'd recommend to anyone looking for something other than Jackbox games (for up to 4 people)

Great concept, I haven't played tons of the game yet but it seems to execute well. The voice acting is pretty good and the stories are relatively interesting so overall just a well done experience with a very unique concept which makes for a good game.

I haven't played Dome Keeper so I have no point of reference, but I can say that this game was just boring. The upgrades and mechanics are neat, but again each run just feels so similar that I never felt that itch to try another run.

A great game in its own right, even if it's not as good as the first. I somehow haven't finished Infinite yet, but this game is absolutely worth playing and is a great expansion on the world and mechanics outlined in the first.

It's not bad, just pretty dull. Similar to many other roguelites, the 'runs', if you can even call them that, just feel super boring. You place a tile, watch your character fight, put on armor, place a tile, etc. A neat concept as a fan of autobattlers but execution was bland.

This is a good game. There's nothing groundbreaking here, and it's not too long, but the aspect of figuring out what was going on in the time loop was engaging personally. Sure, the AI is pretty eh and there are some other gripes I have with the game, but it kept me interested for it's runtime and was well paced.

A wonderful game with lots of variety in the way you can approach missions. Trying out new methods and exploring the world they have created was a great experience.

This game takes all of what made Dishonored great and only expands on it. There are more abilities, more side missions, and an entire new character to explore the game as. A great follow up to the original.

Not a bad game by any means, but nothing particularly special. The movement is pretty nice once you get the hang of it, but it's far from perfect and fluid. It's nice to play in the background if you've got nothing else you'd like to play.

A very good game. The art style, music, characters, and everything else combine to make it feel like you're playing a cartoon from this era. It's hard, but generally very fair save for a few fights.

Been playing this for about a year, the demo alone is worth $15. One of the best roguelites out there imo, a great example of an indie game done right.
