A lot of action games like to make most spectacle fights QTE fests or just painfully easy, most of the time that’s not a bad thing, because it’s at the end of the fight and the player has earned it. Armored Core VI, however, makes sure every boss fight is a spectacle throughout the whole thing, while still giving as much control to the player as possible. And it pulls this off beautifully.

Alright buddy, you’ve got two options here! You can either lie or you can die! Those are your two choices. Choose wisely. So what’s it gonna be huh? Huh? Lie (laye) or die (daie)?

Crazy how this game can actually be really fun and then just like isn’t

Held back from being 10/10 only by some dark souls 2 level bullshit encounters and horse jank, Elden Ring is the very definition of the words “adventure”, “quest”, and “legend”. This is the ultimate fantasy game. This is the new standard for open world games and the fantasy genre as a whole.
