MASTERPIECE. Absolutely unmatched character and world design. Witty and charming storytelling. Mechanically inspired.

This is one I recommend constantly to anyone who hasn't ever dived into singleplayer RPG titles before. It's the best Mario game of all time and it sets the bar impossibly high for everything that comes after.

When people talk about games as "art" I think there are few better examples to point to than Disco Elysium. A masterclass in storytelling, an incredible visual direction, and some of the best writing and voice acting I've ever experienced in gaming.

It can be slow going at times, but when you start piecing together the puzzle of what's going on in this world, it absolutely clicks in a way I haven't felt with many other games.

Truly the most addicting strategy game I've ever played. I've returned to this alien-blasting adventure more times than I can remember and I'm always immediately invested.

I will say, this is another great example of a game saved by the modding community. So many QoL and content additions turn this from a bumpy but memorable ride into a true delight. A painful, painful delight.

I'm not writing a long entry for The Witcher. It's The Witcher. Masterclass in the crowded genre of the "open world action RPG." Every corner of the world is packed with detail, virtually every quest feels worthwhile, and the visuals are breathtaking - DLC especially.

Truly a favorite of all time for me.

Supremely excellent co-op shooter with some of the deepest replay value of any game. Missions are entertaining, the presentation value is through the roof, and gameplay is just consistently so fun.

Also worth shouting out the community. One of the most welcoming and friendly groups of people out there.

An extremely memorable experience with a great mix of hard decision making and engaging gameplay. TWOM is at its best when you're pushed to make hard calls and make sacrifices to survive.

It truly shows the horrors of war in a tangible way. Nobody "wins" here even if survival is possible.

The saddest example of an unfinished game I've ever seen. When everything is firing on all cylinders, there is pure brilliance here. When it's not? Pain.

Everyone's experience with Cyberpunk will be different, but mine was a bug filled nightmare. I hope that someday it gets the time and care it needs to become what was promised. I'd love to play that game.

An inoffensive, cute game which applies the Katamari Damacy formula to a game about cartoon animals and donuts. The art is nice and the gameplay does what is sets out to do.

Despite that, the short length and lack of depth or variety left me a little let down. It's a game I could see myself recommending to a family member who has never played games before, otherwise I will probably not remember it for long.

Best in the series, best PS4 exclusive ever made. Bloodborne has one of the most unique worlds I've ever seen in a video game with a second half shift out of left field that left me speechless.

It's demanding and equally rewarding, although some bosses are bullshit as is tradition in all Soulsborne. Chalice Dungeons are a cool inclusion and offer some unique replayability and challenges.

Cannot recommend highly enough!

Thousands of hours... infinite team compositions... Little dancing penguins with swords...

TFT is a magical game that has no right to be as good as it is. The last remaining big auto-battler, this scuffed little side project from some League of Legends devs became a genuinely polished experience!

Bring back Set 3 and I can die a happy man.

Solid game that's left lacking as a result of the "Zelda" branding. It's a vast departure for the series that mostly works, but not always.

Biggest issue with the game is the weapon and armor systems. The scaling and durability system lead to situations where the world is not truly open.

I had some incredible moments exploring the world, but wasn't left overly impressed by the game overall. Maybe the sequel will knock it out of the park!

No single video game has been more impactful on the trajectory of my life. League shaped friendships that have lasted a decade, set me on my current career path, and sparked an absurd love of esports.

It's by no means a perfect game... but 10/10. I hate it so much but it's the best game of all time.

Super delightful game from start to end. Cute art, memorable bosses, and a unique premise. I would have loved to see the combat moveset get a little more fleshed out and for the weapons to have been more interesting. Other than that, would highly recommend.

Not an especially long game but paced well. I was never at a wall where I wanted to give up on it, which I can't say for a lot of similar titles.

Fun novelty game to play with a couple friends for a day. Doesn't have enough content to justify extended play and it's definitely a little buggy and clunky at times.

Still had some fun with this one, but it lives in the shadow of better games in the genre.

I mean it's Minecraft. What can possibly be said that hasn't already been said?

It's a masterstroke of design and a game that demands appreciation. I have an infinite number of stories and memories made through Minecraft, especially as a platform for community building and friendships.

The only knock I would give against Minecraft is a lack of true development and innovation since it first came out. Minecraft Dungeons showed how much creativity and flexibly the Minecraft universe offers in terms of worlds, enemy design, etc.

With that being said, still a GOAT. Just one that I wish had a little bit more to it.
