This is game 1/71 from my backlog!

This was... About 10 times more enjoyable than the original

Before I even begin to speak of the gameplay, I wanna talk about the setting, they made the player an alpha big daddy, and honestly? That's goddamn awesome, but there's a problem with that in my opinion, bioshock is a game where you use your environment to your advantage, if you're a big hunkin monster, you're not likely to think you have to do that, so if you're someone who never played the first game you're not likely to think that you need to use your head in this game.

Now moving on... Holy shit, this rocks, the tutorial was pulled off way better than in the original. Not only that but the new drill is way more in depth than your old wrench, and all of the weapons you pick up that are exclusive to the big daddy are fun and feel better to use than the original guns in the first game, I also never really COMPLETELY ran out of ammo, but that might be a result from me getting better at this series, and from using the drill more (it's really fun)

As for hacking, holy shit I'm so glad, the original's made time stop, and you had to complete an entire puzzle just to hack one thing, it took ages though you got used to it, now, all you do is begin a hacking sequence, and press A when the time is right multiple times, it's still challenging, just doesn't take as long.

As for the story... I didn't understand shit, and that's with me actually like... Paying attention this time around, it was interesting, I guess, but I was confused the whole time and still am, so...

Also, this game doesn't have a final boss, which in my opinion is more in line to what this series goes for gameplay wise, made way more sense than the original.

Yeah this game is pretty wild I'd recommend it, maybe if I replay the first game with my knowledge of this one I'd like the original even more? I don't know but, this was good, not my favorite game ever or anything but good

Forgot to log this, I mean... There's nothing special about it so... It's alright, wish it had more substance but it does what it said it was, so you can't fault it.

This game wasn't made for me, not at all, it requires critical thinking, not just reflexes and slow sections where you can pause and think, there's a lot of times where you really have only a split second to go "what do I have on my arsenal that can quickly dispatch these enemies right now?" And I... I'm too dumb for that, just genuinely too dumb. Otherwise, as for the story, at first I didn't care a single bit about it, probably half in part due to the switch lite's horrible speaker volume (seriously I can't listen to shit on this), but, right about halfway through the game, I did start understanding it, and... It's interesting enough, keeps you going, I suppose, and that's the minimum a video game story should do in my opinion, the world building seems good, but I didn't pay enough attention to say for sure.

Ultimately, my experience makes me want to give it a 2.5 but... I know that's wrong, I know this game is good and I was just bad at it, so... 3.5 it is.

Also, as a side note, the final boss kind of sucks if you didn't come prepared, which I didn't since I barely had any ammo for it, I only had what the game gave me right before it, though I suppose it's serviceable

Oh also, if anyone is curious, I saved every kid, forgot their names even though I heard it the entire game and I just beat it a second ago... Wow my short term memory is insane

This game is a mess lmfao

I'd like to preface that I got this game for free from a friend on Christmas, thanks zombie :)

i CAN'T however justify giving it less than a three stars, but I also can't justify giving it any higher than that, the reason for that being is, this game, from a technical and stylistic a standpoint is garbage, the entire game you'll be under 30 fps, sometimes falling even DURING Battles (and it is VERY noticeable), every single place you visit looks horrible, flat, I would say it doesn't feel lived in, but the amount of npcs does sell the world, even if just a little bit. The resolution is so low I can see the pixels even when sitting far away from the screen, and overall, it's a buggy mess, specially at launch.

However... Even though this is a product that should NOT have been released in the state it was, I can't deny. This IS the most fun I've ever had with a pokemon game, I don't care THAT much that the scenery is shit when I'm focused in running around on top of koraidon and jumping from peaks and it's just fun okay?

As for the pokemon being cut... It's a BUMMER, a real big one, but as someone who only plays casually, I wouldn't notice if lilcutepokemon #362 is missing, though I'd probably like if he was present

The game wasn't too difficult, not like i DIDN'T lose but me losing was 100% down to me never preparing for fights like, at all.

The story I'd say it's worse than most other pokemon games, not in terms of writing or something like that, in fact nemona, penny and arven are the most believable characters in this franchise, but the thing is, what we did doesn't feel... Substancial, we saved a sick dog by killing big ass pokemon (which by the way, felt very human, it was a great scene), we became champion and we beat up some kids who GOT bullied (doesn't sound good out of context lmao), and reading it like that, yeah it sounds great, but it's not like the other games where you like, actively save the world from a disaster, which honestly that's okay! But, idk, it's just my taste I suppose, it wasn't that bad anyways

The ending section, the great crater of paldea felt like it went as soon as it came, I think I was there for only about 1:30 hours, and that's cuz I got lost at the end.

Overall, the only thing I can hope for this series going forward is that they take their time with the next releases, just 2 more years would be probably enough... The fact that the biggest franchise in the world has a product this bad released AND was a comercial success is horrible for the industry.

also forgot to log this one. this is the only one of the vader immortal games i played, it's... boring, maybe if i was a star wars fan i'd like it more but, over all the gameplay is barebones and it's mostly a cinematic experience, which i don't really enjoy, though some of the places were kind of cool

this is another one i forgot to log, it was VERY fun, however it's that one genre of VR game where it... i mean i suppose it's a game but it feels more like an interactive movie than anything, it was beautiful tho

This one feels like it didn't learn anything new between the earlier game and this one, every problem is still there but this one has more content, though I'd say the levels are slightly worse, at it's price I'd say it's worth picking up because it is decent quality

I forgot to log this one, I mean it wasn't anything to write home about y'know, it was... Fun enough, and I didn't have any other games on my switch when I got this so it scratched an itch I had for uh anything.

The horror elements were a bit surprising but they were kinda shoehorned in and you gotta kinda look for it tbh

I'm FINALLY done with this game, I got it... At the start of the year and I've been playing it whenever I have the chance ever since...

This game was nice. Okay? Everything about it felt thought through, except the controls, I imagine this is only a problem in the Wii version, but so many times I would have to retry again and again some section, sometimes losing like 10 minutes of progress because I fell down a random hole, but when it worked, specially in the human fights or similar, it feels really nice, pulling off the sword techniques makes me feel like a real swordsman

The ending felt a bit... Stupid, but not too stupid, if you played it you know what I mean by that, it's acceptable really

But I just gotta say, this was my first Zelda and, with this being such a classic of a series, doing so many iconic things for the first time like getting the master sword, it just feels cool, you know? Makes me feel complete

Also midna is useless when I'm lost but she's cute so she gets a pass, this game has convinced me to, in the future, play another Zelda game

Forgot to log this one, Beat it a shitton of time ago, never 1CCd it tho, even on medium, it's VERY hard, or maybe I'm just bad idk, it's cool tho and i wanted to beat a game so i can call myself a non fake fan of the series

Also it took me 6 months of playing every day to beat it, it's insane.

Now THIS is an underrated gem, haven't heard ANYONE who knows about this game, and it's SO GOOD

I will say i was disappointed because i believed it was an rpg at first, and then i found out it was a puzzle game, but that should speak to it's quality considering i played through it all the same, haru and her interactions are cute af and i even unlocked all costumes for her, will be a classic that i will come back to when I'm older for sure

Insanely fun sequel, i didn't give it 5 stars not because it's worse, in fact considering how much content it has, it's probably better, but since it is so much more ambitious than the predecessor, there's a lot more room for error, played both coop and the story and both are... Chef's kiss

Forgot to log this, beat it years ago, loved everything about it, i don't think there's a single bad aspect to it

Really cute little game, was one of the first games i really played all the way through, even tried to mod it with how much I loved it (failed at that)

it's perfectly serviceable as an introduction for VR, perfect even, very short and little reason to replay, though.
