Not a fan of the design of this type of game, but the first Last of Us is a special case for me, i find the characters incredibly engaging and they feel like human, the pacing and the narrative are great too. I wish the gameplay had more tools like better stealth, better A.I and better gunplay and level design, but all that aside i think its a good narrative driven game.
The sequel ruins the characterization but improves the gameplay a bit, sadly that doesnt matter much since this game was never about its gameplay, if i wanted that i would be at home with MGS:V.
