This game isn't perfect, but it's an excellent tactical RTS with a beautiful story and engaging characters. Final Fantasy's RPG elements are combined with tactical gameplay to create a simple to understand entryway into the tactical RPG genre. The difficulty can be frustrating at times, but manageable as long as you know what you're doing. The one thing I wouldn't recommend is going for 100% completion, as doing so requires hours of grinding, and activates a significant spike in difficulty. Don't come in expecting the next mainline Final Fantasy title, and you'll have a good time.

A portable arcade title with amazing replay value. The US release is unfinished, so try and play the PAL or Australian release if you can.

A unique and engaging experience unlike any other RPG on the SNES, or any other RPG in general. Shelved during the final chapter due to the tedium of random battles. This RPG still holds up very well, but the Switch version blows it out of the water.

The best WarioWare game. Banger soundtrack, and addicting side-content.

GOATed game with GOATed music. And it has Savant.

The worst game I've ever played. Unavoidable crash near endgame halted progression.

This game is CBT and I HATE it

This game on the hardest difficulty is about as hard as one of the older FE titles on their easiest difficulty.

Baby's First Fire Emblem goes hard.

Excellent game with an amazing story. However, expect the sluggishness and grindiness of an early SFC JRPG. I died to the final boss, and didn't bother going through the entire final dungeon again for another shot. If you want to experience Dragon Quest V, stick with the DS localization. Still better than the movie, though.

My boyfriend and I played this game after beating Blazing Sword and dropped it 10 chapters in because every character had terrible stats and the personality of white bread.

I take everything I said about this game in my previous review back. Shadow Dragon is the definitive experience of Fire Emblem's debut, even if it isn't my favorite gameplay-wise.

My favorite part was The Architect's infodump.
