Destroy All Humans 2 helped define my teenage years, and I'm really glad to say that this remake does the original justice.

If you've played the first one, then you're no stranger to how this is gonna play. I will say that the added SKATE system greatly improves mobility, even better than the original.

Personally, I didn't really enjoy the added content. The Poxbot that stops the game to explain how to press R2 felt unnecessary, and some of the added visual gags really didn't hit the mark for me.

Other than that, this is easily the best out of the Destroy All Humans series. I kinda hope that Black Forest goes back to improve Path of the Furon, because that needs some tweaking. We can all forget about Big Willy Unleashed.

It's a serviceable sequel in gameplay only. Story wise this could be the cringiest thing I've ever played. And laziest. You have 6 characters, but Wayforward only wrote for 2 of them, so the other 4 have the same personality as the main 2 girls. The dialogue contradicts itself constantly because the other personalities are thrown right out the window. Legit, the 2 boss characters that join your team have complete personality overhauls once they become playable. A plotline even goes unresolved!

And how many times are we gonna have a punchline where the joke is "we are in a video game"? Y'all ain't Deadpool, knock that shit off.

Before I forget, the loading. God damn the loading. There's a loading screen for every room. Every. Single. Room. And that shit ain't short! I had the game crash on me too. It's honestly astounding why that's even the way it is. I legit made sure to play the game a year late because I wanted these problems ironed out, but I guess that's too much to ask for.

So while the gameplay has improved, the overall presentation takes a step back, making me love River City Girls 1 much more. If there's gonna be a River City Girls 3, please. Get writers who don't suck a fat one and are willing to write for more characters than just Kyoko and Misako.

For a long time, Street Fighter has been trying to figure out a way to make things beginner friendly. One where if you have no knowledge of how to play, this is the way to get in. Well I think this was the first Street Fighter that did it really well, considering it also doesn't isolate already existing fans, finding a great blend between beginner and veteran.

The World Tour mode is fantastic. Not only does it allow you to mix and match each fighter, giving you the full opportunity to experiment with any character at any time, but it's also a really fun RPG that let me really get to know the characters I've already fallen in love with all those years ago. Holy shit they made Luke likeable! I can't believe they bounced back from Street Fighter V's blunder so easily!

The Battle Hub is also perfect. A great take on Guilty Gear's lobby system while at the same time giving enough room for Capcom to put their own creative spin on it and even offer a space for the classics. Alpha 2 was added to the cabinets, that's so sick.

My main complaint is the pop in. There's a metric ton of pop in if you're playing on PS4. It wasn't a dealbreaker, since PS4 is absolutely inferior hardware. I'm amazed Capcom even stuck to releasing SF6 on PS4. But I'm grateful nonetheless.

This game is an easy recommendation, without a doubt. Just pop in and have fun. Expect to lose, a lot. Because it's gonna happen. But keep trying, and you'll find a character that you can really kick ass with. I'm definitely coming back for future seasons to come.

Better than Katamari Damacy in every conceivable way. Not only do I enjoy the story more, the Katamari controls better, the buildup is stronger, the scenarios are more fun, I could go on. The Royal Reverie addition isn't much to write home about, but it is pretty cool. Easy recommendation.

We Love Katamari? Yes we do!

Amy is pretty neat, she's basically easy mode, but it's something that people have been asking for forever so it's nice to see it become the standard. Game Gear games suck by in large, but they are definitely fun to experiment with. This is definitely a "for Sonic fans" kinda game, but I would recommend this to non-Sonic fans on a sale. Wait until the Steam winter sale or something.

I no longer have a demand for Sonic Adventure 3, since I got it right here.

Game of a fucking generation. Not only could it be the best in terms of Zelda overall, but it raises the bar on what can be done in a video game technically, not seen since Half-Life 2. Bravo Nintendo, an incredible curtain call to the Nintendo Switch.

Yeah, it's pretty good. The colors being different for certain Tetriminoes fucked me up. Also the shadows vanish after 100 lines and the drop to secure rate is wildly different than normal Tetris. But it's Tetris, of course it's good.

An incredible Pokemon fan game that not only has the bonus of fusing Pokemon together for some incredible clever and well done combinations, but it also is a great QoL update to the first gen, even fixing some major story beats. Easy recommend if you've ever enjoyed a Pokemon game.

Goofy fun. A better version of an already great Mario game, that comes with some real silly voice acting. Really glad this game to NSO, imo peak Mario Advance

It exists. that's about the nicest thing I can say about it.

It pales in comparison to the mobile version, which actually has pulls that are worth something, custom teams, crossover characters, actual substance! Because a starving man would turn this away, that's how lacking it is in substance.

Bayonetta 3 is strange. It's serviceable enough, it feels good enough, but there's something off. It's like going to a restaurant that you're a regular to, but all the chefs have been replaced, so the food tastes different. Enough where you notice but not enough where you can point out exactly what's changed, outside of the giant monster now being a part of your arsenal.

Also jesus christ this story takes a big ol' fat shit by the end. Part of me prefers if Bayonetta ended as a trilogy and Platinum doesn't make a Bayonetta 4.

It's Coffee Talk, but better. It remains nice and cozy, but it definitely stood out to me that all the conversations are profound and very deep. Not a criticism, just an amusing observation.

RIP Fahmi

An above average mystery visual novel with a gorgeous aesthetic that really caters to the fans of Tron. This is the first Mike Bithell game that I've played and I really had a good time with it. I hope he retains the Tron license because the story really lends itself well for a sequel with the same main character.

Pulseman is a game that while it oozes style a pushes the Genesis pretty hard with its colors and music, at its core it's just a very serviceable platformer. It's not gonna blow you away, but it's very good for what it is.

Also historically I think the game itself is worth preserving, considering it's a Game Freak game pre-Pokemon. Those are hard to come by!
