Absolute perfection of a PVE game and stands as a big FUCK YOU to the current corporate conglomerate era of gaming we currently live in.

It is honestly sad to see that now this game is essentially finished, it has kind of been abandoned.

Yes, content is way more regular now and yes, they are releaing some really cool shit! Where the issue lies is the fact that the store is probally at its worst. 88% of content in events you have to pay for now and if you were to buy it all it would cost hundreds of pounds. Now seasons are gone, it reeally feels like they don't care about this game anymore and have moved away from it. My response to this is if they don't care, then why should I?

This review is kind of a closing statement on Infinite's multiplayer as a whole for me. I do like it and I still play once a week if not more but my interest is slowly fading as the devs clearly are starting to move away from it just as it got to its peak which is such a shame. Everyone was raving on about how good it will be that we get a F2P Halo game and from the second they announced this I felt like I was the only person not happy about it as I predicted exactly what has become of this game and how heavily it would focus on paid content.

Overall, I do like this game a lot but it is just ifuriating as a long time fan to see my favourite franchsie fall to the lows of live service. I think has been mace clear again and again that live service games do not work. It is an excuse to release an unfinished game and this is a prime example.

Probaly one of the biggest slogs of a game I have ever played.

The characters are so unlikeable, annoying and have some terrible dialgoue, I literally cared for none of them. The story is so as fuck, takes too long to get going and once it does, the payoffs are really underwhelming. On top of all this, I played this with a friend and I'm not being funny but him being there was pointless. The host basically controls everything and he essentially just sat and watched me play a game.

Honestly so confused how this game has a 3.2 on here, IT IS DOGSHIT.

A brilliant remaster of a brilliant game!

The game is great. It falls off a bit in the last two acts but I don't really care as the combat is so much fun! I am going to watch some videos on the lore of the universe as one thing with these games is I lowkey have no idea what is going on. You are kind of thrown into this world with not much explanation.

So I have finally gotten around to playing one of the most hated games in the franchise and I low-key loved it?

RE6 definetly has its issues. The story can be a bit meh at times but the gameplay and tone is the saving grace. The gameplay is super fun on controller and a big part of why I enjoyed this game so much. I tried it on m&k and hated the bindings but on controller it is great. I also thought this game did a great job at implementing horror. There were so many times this game either had an eery atmosphere or was just straight up creepy. Unlike RE5, I really enjoyed how over the top this was. It felt more like RE4 and just worked really well.

Leon's Campaign: Leon being my favourite RE character should have meant that I loved this. Unfortunately I actually think his campaign is one of the weaker parts of the game. The bosses aren't fun, the story isn't great and I didn't really care for Helena. Oh and this is Leon's last appearence timeline wise and his last line was 'Women'?

Chris' Campaign: By far my favourite story of the game. This campaign has a very strong narrative and actully does a great job at making you feel like a solider rather than a regular person.

Jake's Campaign: This one suprised me quite a bit. I think again, this one had a very strong narrative and was carried by good characters. Seeing Jake and Sherry's relationship develop throughout the game was both interesting and satisfying.

Ada's Campaign: This one was probably my least favourite. It has its moments but I never really felt invested with the story. That said, the part when the faces are coming out of the wall was terrifying.

Overall, this game has more than its fair share of issues but is it overhated? Most definetely! It is some dumb fun with a bettter than narrative than you'd expect!

This is the one Halo game that each time I replay it, I start to appreciate it more.

I may not be the biggest fan of the multiplayer, the brute design or armour lock but damn will I say this is a mastepiece nevertheless. This game encapsulates the tone of hopelessness perfectly and tells such a tragic tale in the best way possible. Every mission feels like a suicide mission or a lost cause which is exactly how the Fall of Reach should be depicted. This game makes the Covenant feel like more of a threat than any other Halo game.

The soundtrack is incredible and the characters are all so likeable. I also think Spartan IIIs may be my favourite spartans as their design is unmatched.

This is a weird one. When stuff is actually happening this game is great but unfortunately that is quite rare. There is too much time spent running towards the objective again and again and it can get real dull real quick.

The Finals is a really fun and creative PVP game. It is very fun with friends but I have decided to shelf the game for now as there isn''t really much in terms of progression.

By far the best season yet.

They absolutely nailed this season. Some great additions were added such as Halo 3 refueld, Firefight and team neutral equipment! It finally feels like we aree getting worthwhile content with this game and I love it. They finally got it right!

It may not have the best story, but Shadow Warrior 3 returns to its origins and has some of the funest gameplay out there. I shall defiently be doing a rereun on NG+!

As a big fan of the first game I cannot express how disappointed I was by this game. I usally give games a chance but 2 hours into this I still hated it so I have decided to not waste the little time I have to game on it.

This game manages to mess up everything that made the first game great. I went into this wanting to play a super fun and mindless fps but what I was met with was an overwhelming looter shooter. There is no form of progression as this game is just constantly throwing new weapons and several perks at you constantly. I very quickly stopped equipping the perks I was picking up otherwise I would be spending half of my playtime in the menus. It reminds me of how Forza Horizon 5 would throw new items and events at you every 5 seconds which was just overwhelming to the point I stopped playing, much like this game. Oh and on top of that I found the combat to be very boring as they decided to make the enemies more bullet spongey with health bars.

The dialogue is god awful and cringey. The only funny lines in this are ones reused from the first game. All the new characters are either bland or annoying and the story is not intersting whatsoever. Oh and the achievments are still as broken as the first games so it is good to see they didn't bother fixing that.

Overall, everything I love about the first game is utterly destroyed in the sequel hence my hatred for this game. The game does look nice and run really well but that is about all I can commend.

Too combat heavy and dumb that you have to do this in one go

A clear love letter to the orignal game. It has a great sense of horror and is funnilly better than the base game for that exact reason.

RE5 is a weird one for me as I spent as much time enjoying it as I did getting very annoyed with it.

It's safe to say the game has not aged well. The gameplay is clunky as hell and quite frustrating at times. Sheeva is a decent new character but her AI also did my head in. I would place a few proximity bombs and she would just start picking them all up! When she wasn't doing that she was either in my way or shooting me. I also really hated the saving system in the game. You barely ever got checkpoints so I ended up redoing so many sections of the game which is part the reason it took me a bit to finish. That said, the combat was fun at times and I found myself becoming quite fond of the stun rod!

As for the story of the game, it feels like a missed oppurtunity. You spend most of the game looking for Jill which is cool but I feel like everything starts happening too late on in the game. Wesker shows up way too late and with him being such a cool villian it just feels like a waste that he is only in the last segment. The first 4 chapters just felt like they were just prolonged build up with not too much happening.

When it comes to the tone of RE5, it seems to fully embrace its silliness but I feel like it doesn't work the same way it does in RE4. RE4 has you laughing at how cheesy and over the top it could be where as this had me rolling my eyes the majority of the time. Everything was over the top but it no longer feels self aware and actually felt like it was supposed to be cool. A prime example of this would be the cutscenes. One instance that I did find quite funny though is Chris having to perform a combo on a boulder to create a path for Sheeva, that made me piss myself.

For quite a negative (and lengthy) review I have given quite a high score. Now don't get me wrong, I did like this game. I think it is overall ok and I had quite a bit of fun with it. My issue is that a lot about this game really frustrated me as I believe it could have been so much better so that is all I really have to talk about.

I enjoyed elements of this game but as a whole it overly medicore.

I was a bit bummed that I got the bad ending but in all honesty the choice that decides it is stupid. What I will praise this game for is that Barry is great, and the atmosphere and design of the enemies and environments are briilantly disturbing which is exactly what Resident Evil should be.

What I don't like about this game mainly is the gameplay. I found the partner mechanic to be tedious and dull. This wasn't helped by how much this game drags. It is way longer than it needs to be and the story isn't interesting enough for it to drag out like it does.

This is a fairly negative review and don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this game at times hence the decent rating. It is just the things I didn't like really frustrated me hence why I mainly talk about them. I see this as a very low 3 as I feel 2.5 would be too harsh. I have the DLC but have no real interest in playing it.
