The good:
-Enjoyable turn based combat, even for me, a turn based combat hater
-The story is super engaging and kept me interested and succeeded in making me rather see the real life segments in the Sunny route and the headspace segments in the Omori route despite both having 90% of the same headspace content.
-The way it represents the real depths of depression are super relatable and well done.
-The characters are really good and the interplay between headspace and their real world characterization is great.
-A lot of the scares are good and don't exclusively or even regularly rely on jumpscares.
-The console exclusive Basil Boss Rush is really good, don't skip it if you're generally not a fan of boss rushes.
-excellent soundtrack

The bad:
-I think the twist is too extreme and stretches the believability of the other friends forgiving Sunny and Basil. I think having them simply make it look like Mari fell on her own may have worked better.
-Humphrey
-The Abyss
-There absolutely should have been a scene in the hospital room at the end of the good route. Part of the reason Sunny is willing to start to forgive himself is because he thinks his friends will end up forgiving him, their words are integral to the final confrontation with Omori. Maybe the writers thought that Sunny's belief he'd be forgiven was enough to assure the audience, and maybe it is for some, but not for me.

Overall the game is excellent, despite a few, what I view as major flaws.

Maybe a bit padded in places but still an excellent game.

It escalates it's puzzles and story and flawlessly.

Man I love this game. One of the only metroids I 100% because how much I enjoyed it.

I have immense respect for this game in being the grandmother of every indie metroidvania, but for some reason I just don't love it as much as everyone else seems to.

Screen crunch and bad level design here I come.

Probably tied with Mania as the absolute peak of 3D Sonic. Great levels, amazing soundtrack, and tons of replayability.

It functions unlike some other games in the series, and that's about all the praise I can give it.

Very good, with the only real downside being Metropolis Zone.

A great first half with some of the best level design in the series and a banging soundtrack.

Mostly bad outside of Green Hill and Starlight Zone. Just really boring.

The best 3D Sonic since SA2. Really good level design and the only good return of classic sonic in a 3D game.
