Honestly this game to me is just okay. I like it but It has problems.
PROS
The gameplay is satisfying, the graphics are incredible, I really do love quite a few of these characters and I found the fear factor of the game stellar.
CONS
I don't like the pacing of this game. It feels aimless and weird for the sake of being different. I don't enjoy the lost progression at the half way point of the game during the character switch. Feels like a slap in the face. Finally I don't think Ellie is as strong of a character this time around as she feels very one note.
CONCLUSION
Most controversial opinion I can share is this game would have been better if it was an original story all about just Abby. Her section of the game (when it doesn't focus on Joel or Ellie) is the best the game has to offer. I would have been fine with just focusing on the Wolves versus Scars storyline with Abbey and Lev as the main characters. Try sharing that opinion on the internet. I say it is worth playing despite its problems as I certainly am that outlier middle opinion.

Really Makes you FEEL the Dread. Honestly a must play Switch game.
I don't like this one as much as I love the first but still a stellar title.
Made lock down feel more joyful at the time. Yeah there are problems but the initial good vibes and memories of playing this game outweigh all of them. Not for everyone, but at the time certainly for me.

Ape Escape 3 is that comfort game I return to whenever I feel down. It's the sugar coated wonderland of games that is here to show you a good time and make you smile. I love this game and it's without a doubt one of my favorites of all time.

The story is so good but fuck is the gameplay boring. Wish it was a more linear style adventure like Mafia II was. This series as a whole has great writing but lacks in almost every other department. Even with that being said the main character Lincoln Clay makes this game worth slogging through and I had fun by the end of it.

Polished to an absolute shine. This self described "God-Like Rogue-Like" tells a engaging story through both your failures and accomplishments. You'll take up powerful weapons and enjoy great build opportunities as everything you do helps to achieve some reward.
Also they made everyone incredibly hot. That is the most important thing.

Honestly comes close to the first game when it comes to my love for it. Another Peak for me for the Franchise.
