The combat itself feels fine for now; just a good podcast game. I will never play as the little girl. They cannot make me. She Will Always Be Left Behind. Skipping dialogue causes every moment until the next dialogue starts, which creates some genuinely hilarious jump cuts. That's comedy, baby. |
Touched this briefly, but got distracted and chose to play a little Loop Hero instead. Made just a slight bit of story progress though. And Iris seems really fun. Her crush on Noct is cute. I ship. |
Touched this really briefly and played through the first two stages before remembering that I'm playing too much already and also Loop Hero just came out on Game Pass? aw, heck. This is super cute, and I'll likely play it real slow. |
Finished Mario's Lv. 5 puzzles, and started the first couple of level six. Woof, I'm going to have to go over to Wario's side of things soon, huh. He seems frightening. |

Glad to have done literally just enough to get the AOTW, but I suffered gravely trying to get there. Everything about that game exists to make me miserable. Not even Shy Guy Ice Skaters saved my soul. I am broken. I am finished. I have lost a part of myself today and I will never get it back. |
Next Level: 3-1 | Star'd Levels: 6 | Current Life Pool: 9 | Presents Found: 29 | Trying to blitz through this in a week to get the Achievement for the AOTW special event. Don't feel like that should be too hard - already a third of the way through and without much friction. I know this game is a puzzle platformer, but feels like the challenge in this game is in finding the collectables more than getting to the end of the game. Also, wild to be playing this as the same time as Pinball Land - both games look really stunning in a way I did not know the GBA could make games look. And at least this game isn't making me believe the dev team wanted me to suffer. |
Finished Day 2 of exploring. Taking this game in bite size chunks, which makes sense, given the structure so far. I very much regret losing my Wii U stylus. I've been using my 3DS one, which hurts my hands in the context after long. |
