Honestly the most awesome I've ever felt doing platforming. Actually felt like I was using mechanics given to "jank" myself around the maps. The movement felt tight as hell.

I kept comparing it to what I think Mario games are like (I dont play them) and I was like "Damn, I probably like thsi more than Mario." I think the main thing is the game is structured like a Metroidvania and not in levels with multiple goals. If this game had some time limit objectives or other quirky bullshit I would probably hate it, but it doesnt! Just fun platformer movement and Metroidvania brain addiction.

Definitely wish there was a map of some sort because the areas don't super stick in my head (and I think i;m pretty good at that type of memory). There was some shit I knew I missed cause I just couldn't remember where shit was.

Anyways, dope as hell game.

As a 3D platformer, this game is fantastic. Beyond the movement being extremely fluid and responsive it has an aspect that I seek out of 3D platformers, expressing yourself with said movement. You can, in a way, sequence break levels, which I did a lot by abusing the wallkick, to the point that the bounce jump was the very last upgrade I got. It's the perfect combination of letting you go crazy with the sandbox of movement, but also incentivizing you to do so.
However, as a metroidvania, ehh...
The combat just sort of exists and while the lack of a map is a problem the real issue the lack of direction. It never actually feels like any of the areas are connected, so a lot of time I got this feeling of "Oh, I'm here?" At the very least I appreciate the game's direction of "Just go find these 5 thingamagigs and get to the end."
The foundation is more than great, so I'm hoping a sequel comes one day to polish the rough edges.

Extremely fun to move around once you get all of the abilities, but the start was a little slow. Needs a map desperately.

i firmly believe there are only like 5 good n64 games in existence and this is one of them

An excellent game with some of the best controls for a 3D platformer ever. It is in dire need of a map though

the aesthetic >>> the actual game

wario loves farting and money

Labyrinth has led to my eventual suicide

Sometimes, a game's importance to gaming history is not proportional to its quality, and that's okay.

I HATE REDDIT I HATE REDDIT I HATE REDDIT I HATE REDDIT I HATE REDDIT I HATE REDDIT

A lo-fi cuteventure, reminiscent of something like DROPSY, but with a lot of weird mixed media stuff and endless minigames and diversions from the "main quest". Those diversions are the point, though - the game's message is that every mundane little thing in life can be an adventure with the right attitude, and it proves it well.

Not a lot of depth (again, by design), but a fun hangout with a lot to do.

Games to play while taking a fat dump

Perfectly serviceable Mario Kart. This is a lot like Mario 3D Land, an enjoyable 3DS title that you won't think about much once you've finished with it. The gaming equivalent of a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios.

An amazing game because it killed Waluigi
A flawed game because it didn’t kill him permanently
