30 Day Game Music Challenge Time Waster

Following this: https://imgur.com/aGSVjXC

No duplicate games/series.

Day 1: Title Screen Music
Jesper Kyd - Main Title

Nine minutes, nine whole minutes of Jesper Kyd working magic on the Genesis.
Day 2: Opening Stage Music
Yuki Iwai - The Mavericks' Last Stand

Probably still my favorite opening stage. RIP Green Biker Dude.
Day 3: 8 Bit Music
Naoki Kodaka - Outside

Incredibly open criteria here, so it's time for the Fester's Quest music.
Day 4: Music From a Console Exclusive Series
Daiki Kasho - Jack Levin

I dunno how predictable it is to just use this as the "Nintendo" category.
Day 5: Hub Music
Grant Kirkhope - Isle o' Hags

I'll probably get charged for heresy on using this over the Teddy Bear Picnic music in Kazooie, but this one always stuck out to me for some reason. I just really really like the melody to it.
Day 6: Relaxing Music
Kevin Manthei - EarlyGame

Fun fact, I used this music as background noise for tabletop sessions. It's pretty much perfect.
Day 7: Music From an Indie Game
Dominic Ninmark - Snow Base

Taking this opportunity to give exposure to my guy Dominic Ninmark. Adore the entire soundfont he used for Blazing Chrome.
Day 8: Music From a Shooter
Johann Langlie - Techno Industry

This is actually the full version which wasn't in the actual game, really needs to be heard over the cut down version.
Day 10: RPG Battle Music
Nobuo Uematsu - The Extreme

Apologies for going to Nobuo for this like a normie, but I really don't play RPGs much and I've saving another series for a later entry.
Day 11: Puzzle Game Music
Eric Caspar - Track 12

Was always a big fan of the porn music in this game.
Day 12: Music That Makes You Sad
David Wise - Life in the Mines

I dunno, this track just sounds super somber to me. I remember trying to come up with sad lyrics for it when I was younger, probably super cringeworthy if I tried to remember any.
Day 13: Music You Like From a Game You Don't Like
Christian 'Praeco' Linke - Daylight's End

If I could get back all the money I spent on this game I could, but Diana still rules.
Day 14: Music Featuring Vocals
Jake Kaufman - Mango Tango - Neon Jungle

Couldn't be any clearerrrrrr, upon my magic mirrooooor I can seeeeee~

Your true nature callin' me~
Day 15: Boss Battle Music
Shinsekai Gakkyoku Zatsugidan - Dear Falling Angel

Still kind of convinced that Krizalid is the coolest fighting game character.
Day 16: 16-Bit Music
David Whittaker - Meltdown

Another super open category, so it's time to melt your face off with Battle Cars music.
Day 17: Music You Never Get Tired Of
Masanori Akita - Awakening ~Nurburgring Suite~

I assume this is the "you can listen to this for 24 hours straight" category, so I'll just put the music I had on for literally hours not long ago while I was sketching stuff.
Day 18: Music In a Game Released The Year You Were Born
Konami Kukeiha Club - In The Wind

Exceptionally rude to ask for something pertaining to my age.
Day 19: Cover of Music by a Different Artist
Toshiaki Sakoda - OMAKEBGM00 Thunder Force II Knights of Legend

Banned myself from Smash Bros like a cool guy.
Day 20: Music From a Racing Game
Tomoyuki Kawamura - Getting Muddy

I feel like I've thrown enough cars on here already tbh. For more good music from games with cars in them, feel free to consult my lists about the subject matter.
Day 21: Music You Associate With Frustration
Hirohiko Takayama - Round Lost

God I hated this game.
Day 22: Town/Village Music
Matt Uelmen - Tristram

Sorry, but this is town music for me and I doubt it's changing anytime soon.
Day 23: Underrated Music
Akihito Okawa - Fate (The Final Conflict ver.)

I'll shill for this series as much as I can.
Day 24: Music You Constantly Have Stuck In Your Head
Hideki Okugawa - Beats in My Head

Sorry, but not sorry.
Day 25: Music That Gets You Pumped
Daisuke Ishiwatari - Stage 1 - Origins (Extra)

Honestly, probably my favorite Daisuke track ever? You can definitely tell he had fun with it.
Day 26: Music You Like From a Game You Haven't Played
Cikayo Fukida - New York's JoJo

This will change with the re-release hopefully.
Day 27: Music From a Handheld Game
Hidehiro Funauchi - Original Sin

Sticking to OG Game Boy for this one.
Day 28: Music That Makes You Nostalgic
Koji Kondo - Staff Roll

Alas, despite my increasing indifference to Mario 64 every time I revisit it, there's something about this piece of music that always brings me back to more innocent times and recalling precious memories. I suppose if there's one thing that will never age it's Koji Kondo's work.

Thank you sir.
Day 29: Final Boss Music
Multiple People Involved - Final Boss

Still the personal favorite to ever do it.
Day 30: Credits Music
Stewart Copeland - Credits

Well, it's been fun. Hate to be as predictable as the sunset with this choice, but I'd never forgive myself for leaving off this or the Mario 64 staff roll theme.

I saw others were posting with this same template and went through and edited this one a bit, I dunno how I could really bump this without remaking it though.
