Games people suggest are perfection until you prod further only to find the exception is a huge chunk of the game
I include myself in some if these. Sometimes we get a little overzealous.
If I know someone who will vehemently defend it that section, it doesn't count so you're lucky Xenoblade 1
Games I will defend:
Any Game - Unusual Controls (Tank Controls, Ape Escape, static jump arcs, etc) a game is designed around -> This is more a commitment issue which is fine. If you don't want to learn how the game was designed to play, you should go with your gut and not play it. But suggesting a game was bad because it was design within their designated control constraints is a weird argument.
Persona 3 - Tartarus -> Tartarus' Fatigue System was a wonderful mechanic that made you utilize your team efficiently. It's not the prettiest but I didn't dread the visits. Any worry was more around the jampacked calendar to work around
