low budget, low effort, high wokeness crap

It's a beatifully designed game with OK puzzles. I had to abandon it - i don't understand why it has to have arcade-y elements which don't involve puzzle solving, but agility/dexterity...

Man, I'm getting too old for these endless open world games... on top of that there's just too much visual, auditive and textual clutter, too many details, not enough direction. Gameplay feels tedious as hell - get in your ship, open the starmap blablabla; put on your helmet, because god forbid there's an auto function for that; etc. Story is kind of recycled as well. Music and design is pretty, though. But this is reeeally far from GOTY. Oh and those botoxed motion captures... they worked in Skyrim, but the resolution and the detail is just too high now for it to not be uncanny valley. (It's still better on launch day than Cyberpunk was.) Story has some highs, but more lows. Sidequests are more fun, but man I'm tired of the constant docking, landing loadingscreens. It's boring, that's what it is!

2017

Great concept, great design, great atmosphere, great story! Classic ! Minus half star for only 10 saves and the fact that controls/ui was made for PC and is clunky on consoles.

I swear to god, it looks more authentic on the ps3. Great as ever, hasn't aged a single pixel.

Refreshingly non-PC humour, some very bad voice acting (the protagonists') mixed with some very funny ones (the japanese), boring cutscenes, bad screen tearing and clipping bugs. Retains a bit of the charm of the original, but kind of meh.

What a minor masterpiece. Awesome production design and level design, great atmosphere. Minus points for uneven pacing, stupid controls and it being basically a god of war clone. I'm sad that they don't make'em like this anymore.

They haven't fixed the framerate or the laggy controls in this release, sadly. Otherwise it holds up, one of the better Far Cry stories. Plus the platinum isn't to grindy and it doesn't have the multiplayer element anymore, thank god.

I'd never played it on my own but it came with Ps Plus and I was pleasantly surprised by the single player campaign. A bit short though... Didn't play the multiplayer part, and I'm not keeping a 100+ Gb hame on the SSD...

Decent remake, preserves the cartoon gothic comedy vibe of the original. But the length of the bits neededto be replayed in an event of failure is just too high.

Control, physics and some visual elements aged very poorly. The story is OK-ish. (Alan Wake is not a good writer...) It was fun revisiting it after I abandoned in on the x360 some years ago.

Can cause severe emotional distress if story mechanics not identified in time. In fact, one could call it manipulative. The Bambi effect....

Oh, baby. I played it on PC back in the day, but had to come back after all these years to revisit the story that spawned it all. The original assassins vs templars thing, with maybe more roots in actual history than either one of the following AC games. Some parts didn't age well, but the setting is still interesting after all these years. The Crusades were a hell of a time in history....

I got suckered by the demo... the game itself got very tedious very fast. At the end I was skipping cutscenes like a motherfucker. The kaiju fights were badass, I have to admit, and some elements are truly masterful. Otherwise it's just a numbingly overwhelming mashup of every european myth/belief system with a very japanese gameplay. Over the top, but it's just too much.

"Free" ps plus game... looks very cinematic, but it's just boring as fuck. I hate these. They should have the decency to look crap as well.
