Some fun puzzling with plants. The gameplay can get a touch monotonous towards the end, and this isn't helped with the soundtrack containing only two tracks (I think?)

2022

I was very pleasantly surprised by Stray! The game doesn't do a whole lot in terms of innovation, but it retreads comfortable adventure game grounds in an impeccable style, combining a distinct visual style with a somber, futuristic soundtrack. Absolutely loved it and the story it told.

Aesthetically delightful, a pain in the butt to actually play.

I had very high expectations of this coming off the back of Nier Automata and unfortunately this game fell a bit short. I found the combat to be quite repetitive and a lot of the game's quests were quite uninspired. What kept me going was the plot, and the need to know what on earth was happening. Once I reached ending A, I looked up info about the story because I didn't want to go through the same gameplay bits again and again.

The best admin game I've ever played

A really beautiful game that made me ugly cry.

The best ugly game I've ever played.

Charming, but lacking narrative depth.

An entertaining and forgiving twist to the action-rhythm genre intersection of gaming.

I nearly cried when I finished this game. I am notoriously terrible at 2-D platformers so overcoming this really challenging experience meant the world to me. NOTHING CAN CONTAIN ME.

Another game in the "peaceful but stressful" camp.

Such a huge improvement on the original Yakuza Kiwami - the combat is smoother, the plot is zanier... great stuff!

Truly the most stressful game to ever exist. Docked a star because it's absolute ass that you have extra for the original soundtrack!

A great concept ruined by very repetitive gameplay and a soundtrack consisting of just two 3-minute tracks on an endless loop. MY EARS.
