Basically my introduction to the medium of visual novels and immediately feels like I can retire the genre. Amazing showcases how the combination of visuals and music can aid an already gripping story. Nothing but love for this amazing game that has it all, including emotional damage to the reader.

the absolute rush of going to my first con and getting 100 new streetpasses after living in a small town and only ever streetpassing my brother is a gaming experience that I can never top

Great ending to the sky trilogy! While I didn't care too much for the dungeon crawling gameplay (I really missed the interactable world of FC+SC) the doors provided tons of good content, and the game still thrived on the copious amount of character interaction.

This game isn't really a sequel but rather the second part of a cohesive whole. It takes all the good parts of the first game and improves on them. My love for the franchise grows as I continue to get to know the whole world from the lighthouse keeper to the friendly airship engineer.

Shelving this for now as playing it just started feeling too much like a chore.

This game is Beautiful with a capital B. The exploration and music is also really good. Sadly, the combat gameplay loop, while really enjoyable at first, failed to change in any meaningful way over my 25 hours of playing. Combat still felt identical to the first encounter. Barely any new skills unlocked, your choices are often made for you, and the fights are too easy to be stimulating. Ultimately shelving the game due to the slowness of story and blandness of most characters not making the combat worth pushing through any more.

Good cases, good music, yummy sprites/animations
Another strong game in the franchise, last case is wild!

15 hours of really pleasant game with some great high points. The mood and atmosphere are both good, and the mechanics and gameplay, while not anything extraordinary are good enough to carry the duration of the game with ease.

Great atmosphere, instant love for me. I struggle to pick a favourite Zelda game between this and wind waker

Didn't play the original but this remake is splendid. The art is really bang on and just works. The game does not suffer one bit from the relatively small world as it actually means every inch of it is alive and interesting. Much prefered over big empty spaces. Superb game!

It is actually a perfect game.

Unreal how this can be played within a week and I already know it will stick with me for years. It just makes me really happy and I sincerely want to thank the devs for bringing this masterpiece into my life and allowing me to experience it.

Idk man, I just really could not get into the game despite how much I like the pixel art and overall vibe. The fishing gameplay felt repetitive and frankly boring, and the restaurant/serving gameplay is the same thing I've seen in hundreds of flash games.

The game had some promising further avenues and I've heard a bunch more kinds of content as you keep playing, but I just couldnt be bothered when the two big core mechanics felt so uninspiring

Roguelikes my beloved
Really good when your synergies pop off
I quickly grew bored with it compared to other roguelikes though, runs take considerably longer than similar games (dead cells, isaac, hades) and often end in a slow fizzling out that felt like I wasted an hour. That being said I really appreciate that the different characters really give vastly different playstyles

Got catfished for the first time playing this game

Actually so surprisingly good. Really want to go back and finish it sometime. Was incredibly comfy to play.
