This game is a blast to go through, always go-go-go. I did find the puzzles easy (didn’t get stumped even once), the navigation really straightforward and the combat challenging but I scraped by on my first try most times. Just the right amount to require my full focus and attention but not my perseverance and determination, if that makes sense. Also, it’s a game I’ve played countless times as a teen, so I kinda always had a hunch on what to do, and I remembered some boss-fights clear as day, so take with a pinch of salt. Game is still tight.

The seemingly endless support this game gets never ceases to amaze.

The reviews on here suck, no matter when you play, the game always has new stuff and collab to freshen the game. That’s why it isn’t dead. The only game where you can revive iron man, while killing Batman, while being an anime character, and knocking down Mr. Beast. You can’t name another game that does that xD

Not sure why I can't stick with this game long enough to beat it, but from what I played I really enjoyed it. Just not a fan of the massive open worlds. I think that trend needs to fade out. Otherwise magnificent game

I had never played an AC game prior to this, and had zero interest in the Mech genre, but off the back of all the positive buzz (and recent general FromSoft goodness) I decided to give this a go. I am very glad I did.

The best feeling combat I have played in years (if not From's best, at least tied with Sekiro) supported by a world and mission structure that slowly peels back its hard, cold edges, to reveal a surprisingly deep and intricate choice-based narrative.

I very rarely restart a game upon completing or even bother with New Game+; the fact that I played four full playthroughs of AC6 shows how strongly it got its hooks into me.

Fun. Overshadowed by the great Xenoblade-3ening of 2022.

Most beautiful Pokémon game. Nostalgia hits different

So tempted to give this a 10/10 but it’s just held back by the usual Pokémon shenanigans like version exclusives and event Pokémon.

ada wong, if you're reading this, I'm free on Friday

Never played a roguelike before. Never played a Supergiant Games... game before (though i was aware of their work). But people were saying this was an EASY game of the year. So i was like huh what exactly is this game that i never heard of before and that it's winning everyone over. So i bit the bullet and bought it to see what it was all about. Aaaaand i didn't get it. It was frustrating to reach so close to the surface only to die to stupid face theseus and get sent all the way back. So i wrote off the game as "not for me" and moved one. Fast forward to a year and a half later i'm basically a changed man, an "i played dead cells and liked it" type of man. So I get this random itch to play it again. I mean, it's been rotting in my Steam for so long so might as well. I started a new file and it all just... made SENSE. I actually understood what the structure was and what progression looked like. I was finally making progress and enjoying the characters, story, music, everything. This game taught me to give games second chances because it might actually work out in the end.

my favorite pokemon game to date. unovan mons have some of the best designs in the franchise. no i'm not biased because its my first pokemon game (maybe a little) but guaranteed it'd still be up there even if it wasn't my first. shoutout my bois Pallas, Worm, David Bowy, Gerard Way, Pete Wentz, and Reyna (Scolipede, Samurott, Seismitoad, Boldore, Eelektross, Volcarona)

ALSO forcing play with only gen 5 mons until the postgame was based as fuck bring that back gamefreak

My favorite video game of all time. Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition is one of the best games I have ever played. From the moment the game begins there’s an enticing fantasy world that leaves you with questions and there’s only more and more of them as the game continues to show more and more crazy things like the Monado being able to see the future, new characters with questionable intentions and so many plot twists, betrayals and mind blowing moments. The way all your questions are able to be answered as the story is fully woven together in its final act is absolutely incredible and one of the most memorable things I have ever seen in a game. The Nintendo Switch version also includes many changes to enhance the experience even more. The graphics have been upgraded with remade HD character models and updated world textures as well as many quality of life improvements to gameplay like a side quest tracker and even some remastered music. This game has some of the prettiest world design I’ve seen from the trees that light up at night in Satorl Marsh to the meteor showers at Eryth Sea, just all the different locations are so gorgeous to explore. The combat is so engaging too with a mechanic that cleverly ties in the core part of the story of being able to see into the future with the Monado into the actual combat itself. Occasionally you can get visions of what your enemies will attack you with in the next few seconds and be able to change the future in time to prevent casualties. It’s incredibly fun and keeps you on your toes through battles. The characters are all so memorable too and you easily get attached to the party so well. Not to mention the incredible soundtrack in this game from the cutscene music to the battle music. If you’re a fan of games with a captivating story, lovable characters, stellar music and beautiful fantasy worlds to explore Xenoblade Chronicles is 100% a must play.

The start of the greatest story ever told.
