Incredible how people can be manipulated, the game is NOT THAT BAD, the combat is fluid and consistent, good graphics, beatiful movements, engaging story. I don't understand the hate this game gets because it's NOT THAT BAD. Aside from the horrendous dialogues and the combat getting repetitive over time it's a decent game.

Lies of P threw everything souls into a bucket and tweeked 1-2 things into sort of new ideas. There are high highs, and very low lows. My experience may differ from others, granted, by the vast majority of time I spent in the game was pretty low and uneventful. Most of the levels are a drab and dull trudge through typical souls nonsense implemented in a really tropey way. Big slow weapons are completely unviable. Your character has no poise and a slight breeze will interrupt his animations. Obnoxious level designs reminiscent of Dark Souls 2. Stuff like walking on rafters while ranged enemies shoot at you and if you get hit once you fall off and die.

There is no rhythm in this dance. There is tedium. And it makes you want to play Sekiro instead.

I will still continue playing this game, solely for searching just how bad it could become.

"you can't fight ideas with bullets."

We making it out of Tartarus with this one 🔥🔥

the best fromsoftware game but no one is ready to have this conversation

Pretty visuals , amazing soundtrack, decent combat and probably the laziest writting i've seen in a long time.

Indie devs need to have an actual in person conversations with other people before making a visual novel because every interaction in this game feels like a forum thread.

2022

the second game is somehow miles better in every way than the original game, which was already complete and utter perfection.

Tons of character, a meticulously woven story, amazing visuals, mind-bending mechanics and some of the best level design I've ever seen in a game. Combined, it's an incredibly trippy ride. Without a doubt one of Double Fine's best work.

Hope to see more from Double Fine, because if this is what they cook, keep them in the kitchen.

the best telltale game by far
