There’s just something about it man. Is it the dull, painting-like art style? The simpler linear level design? The novelty of being the first Souls game? I don’t know, but I just love it

Watching Tammy and and the T-Rex with Gene was actually really funny but of course Justin Roiland just had to cut that bit short so you could get back to the monotony that is this game. Zach Hadel couldn’t even save this

Crazy how this game can actually be really fun and then just like isn’t

The cultural impact of Waluigi Pinball was stronger than any social media

Crazy how people always shit on Ubisoft’s open worlds but never think about how if someone said that this is a Ubisoft game to someone with no prior knowledge it would absolutely fool them

1 year later huh? Well I did my complaining, so here’s what I love about this game.
Da’at is absolutely stunning. The most beautiful overworld in any JRPG and the key reason why I think SMTV is the best looking Switch exclusive. The soundtrack is out of this world good even for MegaTen standards as well as the sound design. Exploration is a lot of fun too what with Da’at being so beautiful and jumping actually being useful unlike with most other JRPGs that have it. Combat oh my god it’s so good. Still wish that physical skills used hp (OK final complaint) but it is so satisfying to release a magatsuhi skill to REALLY turn the tides of battle. The writing for the demon negotiations was so entertaining. Even if there are reused negotiations a lot the incredible sound and character design still gives off enough personality to make these demons so memorable from the ever iconic to the completely new ones. Essence fusion is such an awesome new layer to customization by allowing not only skills to be given, but in the Nahobino’s case, even skill proficiencies. This game just rocks honestly. May not be the best in the series, but there’s still so much to love here.

Why does a Silent Hill game have a pun in it’s title

9/11 for people who like good writing in their games
