A winter ghost-folk story set in a mysterious frozen woods that is nearly impossible to escape from. You play as an astronomer trying to get through the haunted woods to reach the frozen lake on the other side to fulfill a promise you made to someone dear to you. Along the way you'll throw snowballs and put together snowpeople possessed by dead spirits.
A world based on Frozen, Arendelle, is included bringing with it the series' first true snow and ice themed level. Outsled an avalanche, help put together a snowman, crush enemies with snowballs and more! The Keyblade received for beating this world, Crystal Snow, comes with the formchanges for Blizzard Claws and Blizzard Blades which transform into ice-skates so you can bring the winter vibes into any world you please~
The tracks "Ice Ice Outpost", "Sherbert Land" and "Animal Crossing (Winter)" bring with them a gorgeous chilly winter vibe. Sherbert Land in particular feels so much like winter to me with his snow covered trees, string lights and skating on the ice.
The game is played in real-time and thus matches the current real world season when played. Winter is thus one of many seasons rendered in the game with the snow covering the island, being able to make snowmen,
Christmas lights and decorations in the trees and related seasonal activities.
Past games in the franchise would also apply.
