Very unique level design and a story that's a bit more interesting than other main Mario games due to the Luma lore. I think what holds it back is speed. Mario feels slower than past entries, the tutorial is boring to get through, etc.

A very good start for the series. Nice story albeit a bit simple, not a lot of grinding, and was the first RPG to have a class system. It's definitely a important game historically and better than most NES RPGs. The downside is it's easy to get lost tracking down a bunch of items later on. At the time of writing this it is now my 3rd favorite NES game. If you like old school RPGs it's for sure worth playing.

The level system is quite unique amongst RPGs. The more you use a certain command the stronger it gets so you level up stats individually based on your own play style. It does take some luck sometimes but I enjoyed how unique it was. This version of the game fixes a few problems the original version had gameplay wise but it is still a noticably older game in some aspects.

The story isn't insane but is definitely one of the better NES game stories. There's some nice NPCs although the main party could've been fleshed out more. This version of the game did give them some more personality but I wish they did a bit more.

This version of the game comes with the Souls of Rebirth extra storyline which is about all the major characters who died in the main story fighting the main villain in the underworld which is a insanely cool concept. They reused a lot of assets and it's fairly short so I think it could've been handled a bit better but it's definitely a nice addition.

If you're going to play a version of Final Fantasy 2 I definitely recommend this version.

It's free, simple, and fun with friends. That's all their really is to say about it TBH.

I really wish I could rank this game higher because the story especially near the last two endings is AMAZING but the gameplay is HORRENDOUS making it impossible to genuinely want to recommend this to anyone.

It's free (besides cosmetics), multiplayer, and has a somewhat interesting story but I feel it could've been made better. There's just so many awkward and slow cutscenes that interrupt gameplay.

A fusion of Persona 5 and Warriors style gameplay sounded just alright on paper but they way they blended together is surprisingly very great. It's almost like they were meant to be together in a way.

As for story it's a nice continuation that introduces several great new characters. If you liked P5 I would recommend this if you want more of it.

A downsides is it is a bit repetitive and has a smaller roster than most Warriors type games although each character stands out a lot so it's fine.

A hack and slash spin off of a fighting game. Pretty repetitive but fun especially with multiplayer. I like that they chose a lore heavy segment of the story to base it on (Siegfried's journey of slowly turning into Nightmare).

One of the things I love most about Zelda is deep lore and this game excellently covers the origins of the story. I love how it also manages to take a lot of concepts from previous games and blend them together. One downside however is there's a lot of backtracking. Overall though this is now one of my new favorite Zelda games.

I played the original 10 years ago. It was one of my favorite games. Needless to say I was SUPER excited when a sequel was FINALLY announced. Hype through the roof. That being said I kept my expectations moderate. "It would just be a fun game with some connections." That is actually how I felt for the first 1/3. Just a nice sequel but it progressively got better and better. I loved the story a lot. This really was the most fun I've had with a game in at least 2 years. One of my favorite games up there with the original. I just hope Square Enix doesn't keep us waiting another 14 years for a third game in the series. :P

The gameplay was pretty fun. Kind of like Fire Emblem but with a more standard 4 characters in the party.

The story started nice and progressively got better. The ending was great and the game had a lot of nice characters. Great game.

This is the funniest game I have ever played.

The early game had me thinking I'd rate it similar to FC (8/10 for me). The middle had some bad pacing but also had some great character development. So a mix of good and bad qualities. What really effects how I feel about the game however is the ending. A really epic finale that wraps the story up very well. I think there are a few flaws that hold it back such as the previously mentioned poor pacing in parts of the middle but overall it's a really great hidden gem.

On a side note the way I learned about this series was through a few Xeno + Trails fans telling me how similar it is to Xeno (which is a series I love a lot). The second half of SC in particular really give off similar vibes which makes me happy.

I really like the story and lore. In concept it's a very interesting game although honestly not prefered gameplay.

I am excited to see what the sequel has to offer.

A platformer with a lot of charm. It's a bit on the short side but each world has tons of unique ideas and it was very enjoyable. Definitely my favorite indie platformer.

The DLC adds nice extra levels, costumes, etc. It really fleshes out the game with more content.
