This game is still great but the decrease in Mega Man's core moveset is drastic and honestly a bit painful to see after really liking the improvements brought to the series by 7 and 8. And FUCK the endgame!!!!

There were one or two moments that frustrated me but honestly I really really like this game, some of the best Robot Master fights period

It's slightly below 4 because of some of the endgame but the actual Robot Master stages, minus maybe Burst Man are fun as hell, and I love all the secret collectibles

This one's a lot of fun, the branching pathways with different adaptors really add to it for me, plus I've always liked the set up of having each Robot Master rep different parts of the world

I think this one is a bit of a step below the others preceding it aside from 1 but it's good still I like it

I knew I liked this game more than most already but I just finally finished it for the first time and damn this is good good shit I like it a lot

Mega Man 3 is weird, much of it feels less inventive and the abilities are less interesting than 2 yet I think the overall experience is better, despite Doc Robot breathing

Mega Man 2 suffers from many of the same issues I have with other Mega Man games, namely the fact that the good design kinda goes out the window for the finale, and I think that kills it a bit for me but it's still pretty good

This DLC was a fun time but I'm not sure I see myself really returning to it. I'm glad I went in mostly blind because I was able to experience the characters fresh and think all 4 of the new units are easily the best part of the DLC, what can I say, I like power of friendship type shit. While not every map is necessarily fun, I do think it has some very cool and unique map ideas, easily one of my favorites being Chapter 4, while the group is being chased by a big fuck-off invincible monster and you just need to r u n .

I played this game on a quest to eventually 100% every 3D Mario game. I went in expecting to like it less than many others given both the quality of the other 3D games, but also my personal connections to many of them. What i did not expect, nor remember from playing this game around release, was how bland, boring and forgettable nearly the entire game is. Its entire identity revolves around things from other games, in particular, Super Mario Bros. 3 and the Galaxy games, while also completely missing the mark on what made those games good. And this part is definitely a personal thing but wow, this game's level design tends to be so inorganic that it might make poorly slapped together Mario Maker levels and the Sonic Sim from Sonic Colors blush. So yeah, I really don't like this game much at all. Granted, this is also considering the perspective of going for 100%, if you don't, it is perfectly passable, but very forgettable. 2.5 stars at best imo taking out the context of my own experience in completion

I went for 100% with my girlfriend in Co-op and had a blast, I love this game

I grew up playing this game but only just recently finally got 100% and damn was it a fun ride! Despite that, I don't think I like Super Star quite as much as some do, but it is definitely fantastic and a highlight of both the Super Nintendo and DS libraries.

I admit that initially I was going into this game with the expectations FF7 had set beforehand, but this game is much more enjoyed when mentally divorced from its predecessor. It's easy as hell to break but it was enjoyable as hell most of the way through. My only big criticisms are slow opening hours and some endgame boss design being. Not very fun, but these ultimately don't do much to lessen my enjoyment of this game
