I have attempted to make a list of the most notable Wii U games. This list mostly prioritizes console exclusives (with some exceptions) that were played by a decent amount of people, though the bar for inclusion is pretty generous overall. I'd say games with roughly 50+ plays are notable (again, with some exceptions). Downloadable content for games that are already on this list will not be included.

This is mostly for personal use, but it may also be a useful guide if you're a collector, or if you're interested in dipping your toes into the Wii U library and want to avoid games that are completely unknown. If you want to complete your Wii U collection or fill out your Wii U emulator, you should not leave these games out.

The list is sorted alphabetically in two groups: first-party Nintendo games are at the top of the list, and third-party games come after.
