absolutely stunning game, great characters, great story, convincing world/environment so much to do along and after your journey ends however the gameplay is slightly dated as it is very linear as akin to all Rockstar games titles but even then I enjoyed every second of my time as Arthur Morgan

This improves upon the first in every single way besides one crucial aspect. Pacing! The original felt like a heart warming journey between a very eager to impress son and his far too judging/overprotective father and the time we spent with the two bonding felt real and deserved. This attempts to do this with a cast of memorable and forgettable characters who try to sacrifice themselves at every opportunity for either cheap tears or just to rid of the characters for a quick moment. There are some absolutely belter characters such as Oden who I felt lived up to the warning Mimir had given us in the original however the other Gods were either absent or had their characters magically resolved or disappear in the third act which made it feel like the only people in Asgard were Thor(for 3 seconds) and Oden (obviously Heimdall was absent for story reasons). However saying this, I can't lie the ending cutscene did have me sobbing and feeling like Kratos had earnt his path. If it weren't for the rushed third act this would be a stellar game.

Right, Love Spider-Man, first one? Great story, every major character was great and memorable every side character besides like Howard was forgettable and served little to no purpose. This game makes me think major characters are side characters. Kraven shows up for 2 hours only to dip to set up the major major character for the third act who only shows up for like ten minutes then gets defeated by the Spiders in probably the worst suits to ever grace mankind. MJ was improved in this game and I don't see why anyone has an issue with her same with Harry who I personally enjoyed in the story. Problem is everyone else felt like they weren't in the story. The traversal is amazing and literally the best 10/10 feature of any game ever made I just wish we used it in actual missions instead of it being only used for getting from mission A to mission B. Honestly great game but it suffers from Ragnoroks issue of a rushed third act but I'd argue the whole story feels rushed.

Another banger from FromSoftware. Stunning open world, thrilling variety of playstyles and of course an excellent story. The only gripe I have with this is the progression as since you can literally go anywhere you can literally end up fighting someone you are clearly not ready for 5 years before you're anywhere close to ready/level. This game does feel like it was also made for a more Sekiro style of play however I had no gripes finishing the game with this in mind.

Genuinely can't find a reason to dislike this game, every problem I had with BOTW? Gone. This feels like a revamped and new BOTW just enough freshness for it to feel new and just enough familiarity for it to feel like a sequel. Loved the vibe and locations this game had going even if some areas from the first were forgotten the replacements and new areas kept me hooked and wanting more yet I'm 100 hours in and haven't even finished the main story. Truly amazing especially in creativity.

Love the creativity the enviroment and whatnot but to me BOTW just felt empty for the most part. Might pick it up again but with TOTK doing everything better not likely.

2018

I love Hades to bits, characters are mint and genuinly worth a 10/10 based on them alone, their slow but worthwile development through the story kept me hooked to play more just to see where they went with the characters! However, I felt the game got repetive after a while which for me was 100 hours in. Just wish it was more enter the gungeon esc where every play felt like a fight for your life or was an easy cake walk.

One of the best Indie games ever made. In fact, one of the best games ever made! I don't think they'll ever be a game like undertale for quite a while, what Toby Fox and his team accomplished through such a short and impactful story and their cultural impact alone is something that is far too impressive to even tell. Incredible game.

2013

This game is a disaster, it's a 3D-platformer with de-emphasized jumping. Do you know what that means? That means when knack walks over to a gap, it turns into a cutscene of him jumping over it. He is such a garbage mascot, you look at Mario and Sonic, their design is so simple and iconic, that even if a four year old drew 'em, you would know who they are. Knack, on the other hand, is 2,000 little rocks that sort of shape into some weird troll. The gameplay consists of walking into an empty area, hitting a guy once and walking into another empty area and doing it again and again until the game is over. There's even a part in the new one where they make fun of knack for only having 2 moves. This game was a joke and apparently Sony wasn't in on the joke. Knack 2 on the other hand...

IS A MASTAPEECE!!! Ohh!!! Look at the graphics! LOOK AT THE GRAPHICS ON THAT THING! 'Knack is back!' You can play as Ice Knack! Ice knack! Ladies and Gentlemen! 'Ice is nice.' It's like the gameplay of Knack but the story of Transformers! Knack has to fight the high goblin, okay? So he can make a robot to fight a laser! Okay!? Knack even has a NEW MOVE! Dynamic combat!! Couch Co-Op!!! Family fun!!!! Huh? Interesting, doesn't look like Bayonetta has family fun. Look at how good I am at Knack 2. That's how you know it's good gameplay. I give Knack 2 my first ever 10 out of 5. And that's just for the graphics alone, okay? Don't even get me started on the storyline!

It's great with friends. If not it's just really tedious, boring, laggy, bland etc. The modding scene of Minecraft is incredible but that's the community. Just boring in my opinion maybe just not for me I'm not too creative.

It's Persona 5 but more and better. Need I say more?

Funny, clever, banging music, Stephen Merchant as Wheatley!? Peak content can't even add more to convince you.

Loved the bond between Kratos and Atreus. Two unforgettable characters who only grow on you the more you play the game. The gameplay may be repetitive but it's a good repetitive. It works. However the enemy variety does drag some encounters down but the dialogue between characters like Mimir make sitting through the same 5 enemy types worth it. These feel like real and breathing characters which is what you'd hope for in a story game. The locations also feel very grounded which helps set the scene for a more fish out of water Kratos trying to find his way in a world that's not meant for him.

It's okay...even with updates I don't find myself as hooked to the characters as I should. Maybe phantom liberty would change my mind? But the only characters I found myself liking were Kerry, Jonny, V and Misty everyone else just felt bland Npc characters. The gameplay certainly wasn't anything to write home about either nor was the night favored lighting and graphics. The anime certainly surpassed this game in every way.
