The game doesn't last long enough to really earn the twist it goes for. Feels like a long demo more than a full thing.

A short wee horror puzzle game that feels too much like a million other things to really stand out in any way.

Not meaning to jump on this one specifically, but I cannae wait for the trend of "PS1 style indie horror" to fade away. Almost everything I've played that chases it does pretty much nothing of note, and ends before it feels like anything even began to happen.

I quite liked the greater focus on platforming in this one, but it just doesn't hit the same way Castlevania 64 did for me.

A short wee jaunt into enemy tunnels to handle maggots and such. Some nice audio and I can appreciate the PS1 style aesthetic being chased, but overall feels very much like a prototype.

Awkwardly handling bits of paper simulator.

I don't have a brain for D&D stuff, so the novelty is lost on me and just makes it feel very slow and rigid.

Just a solid, short and sweet retro style shooter. Lovely crunchy sound and feel to it. Still amazed what people can do with microscopic sprites.

It's got a great style and some really cute stuff in there, but it's about twice the size it needs to be and drags terribly.

It's good. Nothing incredible, just a good wee game.

Hate the battle system though. Pick it up and fuck it off a wall. Lacked all the cool mad battle item animations they had in Color Splash.

What a solid follow up to the first game. They're just crackin' metroidvanias with tight controls and some of the most gorgeous environments you'll see in the medium. The things these folk do with 2D masquerading as 3D blows me away. Proper living worlds, with lovely wee characters.

Cannae wait to see what Moon Studios put out next.

A brilliant wee short laugh.

Masterful voice work.

Aw man this is great. Just the right amount of short and sweet. It feels great hopping around as a cute wee guy saving the day.

We need more firefighting games.

This joins Owlboy and Iconoclasts in the part of my brain labelled "Great fun indie pixel-art games where I really struggle to understand the plot".

I wish I could explain the vibe all three have but it would take a more intelligent man than I to accomplish that.
