Such a great modern platformer. The mechanics feel smooth and fully realized. The characters and story are actually good. Just an amazing game.

An amazing RPG that has such a unique story. All of its characters feel so interesting. The only thing I don't like is the rhythm based combat that feels almost required to actually do well in fights. Definitely worth a play, and a port.

A great Mario platformer, especially for the NES.

A very fun Mario platformer. A classic. There truly is such little to say about this game.

Imagine Super Mario Bros but more annoying. But also, the first game is so easy, this game does wonders by being actually difficult. The mazes suck though.

There's only so much you can say about the game. It's the first Mario platformer. It works great for what it was, and still holds up well.

An extremely fun experience. There is plenty to do in the game without feeling unnecessary. Capturing is a fun mechanic as is Cappy himself.

A very solid Mario platformer. It could have done more, especially since the movement feels really limited here in comparison to Sunshine. however, the Stars are usually fun, plus there is tons of content.

The glitches in the game are the main detractor of an otherwise great experience. Movement is sharp and can be corrected via FLUDD, levels are super creative even when forced to comply to the beach theme, and the songs are just instant classics. But the glitches as well as certain shines such as the watermelon shine and the boat inside of Corona Mountain prevent the game from being what it could have been.

This is a very janky game. The camera barely functions (despite all of the games defenders always downplaying the issue), and Mario's movement often feel unresponsive. Combined with the tricky platforming of Tick Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride can lead to many an unfair death.

If you like Kaga Emblem, this is the definitive game. It feels like if he combined all of his games into something even better. However, adding that much content has its downsides, as too often there are exposition dumps that slow the game down to a crawl. There are also many secret events that feel necessary in making a character usable, yet are so easily missable with no warning.

Despite being based on a mediocre game, Echoes stands apart by being actually good. Some of the best presentation in any game I've ever seen, only held back by forcing itself to be too similar to the game it is based off of.

Perhaps the best game ever made? Just an absolute beauty of a game, in almost every way. Looks great, feels great, plays great, and even made me cry. That's really all I can ask for. This game has stuck with me for so long. Please play this game if you have the opportunity.

It's okay. Johto has a lot of issues, but the access to Kanto keep it from being too awful.

It is alright. Maybe I'm just overexposed to Hoenn, as this generation is all anybody seems to care about, but it functions fine, but doesn't stand out to me.
