Imagine a world where Warioware didn't exist, we'd be worse without it most certainly.

F in the chat for those true gamers in the 90s who paid full price for a 37 minute long game 😔

I look forward to the rest of the series!

But this was mid.

Story's not as good but still a blast to play. The stealth in particular is way more fun. Also like that the tokens were more streamlined. But still, the story just isn't quite as captivating.

All in all, it's so short that I still recommend.

Really makes you FEEL like Spidahman.

Would be a 10 if not for the Miles and MJ sections.

Good game, but not as good as 2. I liked the puzzles as normal and it was pretty scary, though the sheer magnitude of zombies in this game doesn't quite compare to the more confined, claustrophobic game that is 2. Man do I love that Resident Evil 2.

The story is the main thing that I felt was lackluster compared to 2. I'm someone who doesn't particularly need a fantastic story to enjoy a game, however 2's story was just so engrossing. And its atmosphere. Did I mention that I really like Resident Evil 2? Besides that, I found Nemesis to be more of a nuisance than a legitimately threatening, enjoyable challenge. Whenever it showed up, I was like "oh, this again". The boss fights were good though, I just didn't like the encounters that kept moving me further away from the normal gameplay loop, which I vastly prefer.

Overall, I do recommend despite some flaws. Definitely don't get it full price (I got it through that Humble Bundle that included the entire series), but it is still a fun, breezy survival horror game that I had a good time with.

Without fail the best horror game I've ever played, and one of my favorite puzzle games too. All of that combined with a fantastic story makes this remake one for the ages.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend and I can't wait to check out more of this series. This is gonna be a blast.

I don't think any game will ever make me feel as satisfied as I was after beating Raven Beak.

I mean what else you want me to say, it's a masterpiece. One of the best 2D platformers ever, hell yeah.

"I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with LIIIIIIIIIGHT"

Up there with the cringiest lines I've heard. But the game was a blast and I'm sure the combat gets even better with each entry. And I sincerely hope each game has these cringey ass cutscenes.

Love love love love Metroid. Had a blast with Super and Samus Returns, just shipped Dread through the mail. I love this series, I'd now consider it among my favorites of Nintendo's.

But my god, they had a ways to go after the first one.

I just can't play this game, it's too rudimentary, it's too difficult, but even without those factors, it's just boring. This is some of the least fun I've ever had playing a game. The enemy variety is just not there, and it's not nearly as gorgeous as Super, but that's understandable due to it being a NES game.

I just don't like the NES that much, hate to say it, I really don't. I'll play through more, but I've only really loved Mario 3 and that's it. This game just... I had to put it down. It does not work for me at all. Love what this game led to and I respect it for that. But I'll play Zero Mission instead whenever I can.

I think I finally do get Kirby now. I initially dismissed this game after playing the more minigame like sections, making me think that the whole game was like that. The 8 games in one thing made me think that. But really, most of the game consists of actual levels divided into sections with different rules to each of them. The game is honestly very engaging through and through. Love the art style as well, it is gorgeous.

Really, this is more on the lines of what I was told Kirby was like. I'm not going to be able to say the same for some of the others that I'll play soon, but I loved this one. I don't know if I prefer it or 64 but I know both are top tier for this franchise.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is better.

Logged in to rate this only to find my rating I guess halfway through was an 8/10. Needless to say, I had a much better experience this time around.

I think I really enjoyed this a lot more after beating Samus Returns. That game I feel is a perfect introductory Metroid, whereas playing this game afterwards was a lot more. I had another save file I started months ago, but ended up just starting over sometime last week and that turned out to be a great decision. The game is masterful beyond belief. It can be frustrating because it has those "Metroid Moments" as Dunkey puts it. But overall, it's a fantastic experience, and exploring is incredibly fun, especially late game when you have all the upgrades. My favorite part of the game was probably backtracking after I got the screw attack and finding all the energy tanks and reserve tanks. Ended up with 82% of the items, didn't really go for all the missles. But yeah I love the exploration, even though some of it is completely BS. The mechanics are astounding, especially for a platformer at this time.

I loved this game a lot and would honestly love trying to 100% it sometime. Also MercurySteam should do a remake, that would be spectacular.

If Super Mario 64 invented 3D platforming, then Banjo perfected it. I could've completed this game way faster than I did, but I just wanted to take my time and explore everything. The best 3D platformer until Mario Odyssey in 2017. A few frustrating portions, but they feel more due to me being bad at the game rather than genuinely frustrating controls and level design. Love this game and I'd say this is the best of the N64 library.

Yet another Pokémon game that I enjoyed more than actual Pokémon games lol
