One of the best games ever made. Just stunning gameplay, amazing story, unforgettable bosses. No Otacon though.

This is the first game to feature Very Important Boy™ Otacon. Otacon is a definite hottie in this one even though he has very few polygons and also pisses himself. I love him.

This game is like "what if dogfighting was actually bad?!" And then has to backtrack so hard because they remembered that dogfighting is why people like Pokemon.

The villains want hearts and so they steal a bunch of hearts to make Kingdom Hearts which is, in universe, a different thing. Their plan doesn't make any in universe sense and, in fact, future games make it clear that nothing in this game is important or makes sense. To understand Kingdom hearts lore is to peer into the void

An improvement over the first in every way. The art style is the real star of the show though

It's cute but a little rough. Recommended only if you wanna see where the series started or if you're in the mood for a cave story fangame

My greatest shame is that I've beaten this entire game single player multiple times.

When I started up this game and a Florence Welch cover of Stand by Me started playing I laughed out loud. When the same song started playing over the end credits I cried.

It's fine. The series really picks up with 3, but this one is fine
