This is the one people supposedly hate???

This game is different as it feels less explosive (for lack of better term) than the previous 2 entries and wants to take it's time and it helps tremendously. The orphanage and Okinawa setting let us focus on a side of Kiryu we don't really see much of in 1 or 2 and it’s done very well. And as always, the other characters are all fantastic.

Also important to note that the combat is perfectly fine as is. All that's demanded is to just learn the combos which, by this point, I have long since done.

Phenomenal game

An improvement from the first game in every regard.

Kiryu feels a lot smoother to control, the story is even more gripping and engaging with the inclusion of elements like the QTE's, there’s so much more content to do in here with the inclusion of 2 cities, and the characters, both returning and new, are all fantastic.

Really fun game with a great cast and good gameplay, but man, some of those encounters, especially involving multiple enemies with weapons, can be really annoying to deal with.

I finally managed to play this game after putting off for so long, and it was so worth it.

The time travel felt a little weird at first, but once I got the hang of it, I had so much fun exploring the dungeons and doing the many side quests and getting all the different masks.

Amazing game.

From the perspective of someone who played Risk of Rain 2 first, this game really is just RoR2 but 2D and I do mean it in a good way. Equally as fun and rewarding to clear through the different levels and feel just how far you progress.

Most of the fun I had with this one involves figuring out which combination of characters absolutely trivialize the levels/bosses. In that regard, I had a lot of fun, even if some of those stages were a little annoying to deal with.

The new mid air tricks are a really fun addition, but the last few zones can really start to wear you down if you're not prepared to deal with a lot of bottomless pits and the normal final boss is just not fun.

Zone 6 sucked, but everything else was pretty fun.

A major improvement from the rest of 343 Halo, even if environments aren't all that varied and some levels feel repetitive.

Hey, does anyone remember what made Halo stories memorable among the FPS genre? What made the characters more than just 2D caricatures? The new direction Halo 4 offered to the audience, love it or hate it?

Good for you, because this game doesn't.

Just as fun as the base game and without the Run N Gun levels to drag down the experience.

I went back and forth on whether to give this game a 9 or a 10.

This game is absolutely gorgeous visually, never a dull moment with how alive the game looked and felt. And while the Run N Gun levels were just not it, the boss fights in this game are so (fairly) challenging and felt so rewarding to beat, I didn't really mind it all that much.

It was genuinely hard for me to think of a single problem I have with this game. I guess one level in particular had a kind of annoying gimmick, but other than that, it was very fun, very rewarding, and even had a nice message on top of that.

Beautiful game, and also pretty short. The backtracking got a little annoying at times.

This one was different. Took a little while to get used to it, which I did manage, until a certain stretch during the second half of the game, where it loses it's steam.
