I wanted to be the first person to platinum MGS4. I made my own trophy guide before the trophies released. The day the update went out in Japan I was constantly opening and closing MGS4 in the AM to force check for the NA update, and it ruined my disc drive. I then bought a new PS3 and got the trophies slower than I wanted to originally (didn't marathon), because I knew I wouldn't be first after the delay. This saddened me at the time.
