It's not as bad as everyone says it is, but this game is really frustrating.

I like the extra challenge at times, but the overall difficulty balance is all over the place and can get really frustrating.

Really hate how you have to complete the final stages in one go if you want to use the gold armor as well. I worked hard for that gold armor and I wanna be able to use it at my own pace.

It's still fine and there are a few songs that I like, but it's a step down from the first two games.

I always go back and forth on whether I like 3 more than 2.

I think that 3 has a stronger soundtrack overall and the slide and rush are awesome additions to the classic mega man formula.

The doc robot stuff feels like padding though and can be frustrating to get through.

Overall great, either my second or third favorite classic mega man game depending on how I'm feeling on any given day.

It's fun, and the stages are still pretty memorable.

The soundtrack's not as good as the second and third game. Robot master powers are really hit or miss.

Story is goofy and fun. Solid game overall

Most boring classic mega man game. Not a big fan of any of the robot master power ups and everything just feels really bland and samey.

Dark man stage theme is a banger tho

Better than 5 but the classic mega man fatigue is still setting in. The armor is cool though and provides enough variety to the gameplay for the game to still feel fun.

It's not boring like 5 is, but I don't know if 6's highs are a good as 4's.

It's fun and the new art style makes it feel refreshing and different compared to the last few classic games.

Mega man's sprite is oddly big compared to the previous games which makes platforming feel a little weird and different compared to the other classic games.

The final boss is also stupid hard for no reason.

This game is really fun and entertaining throughout. Everyone knows the voice acting is funny, but the gameplay is also really fun!

The levels can feel a little long sometimes and some of the upgrades are kinda dumb (the ball is kinda dumb but also surprisingly useful out of nowhere).

Difficulty balancing feels a lot better compared to 7 as well.

Favorite classic mega man game.

It's harder than the more recent classic games, but the difficulty balance is consistent and it's fun to learn. Getting rid of the slide is questionable at first, but the levels are built around not having it and the level design is top tier.

Best soundtrack since mega man 3 and this game has hands down the best robot master upgrades in the series. This game is super comfy and easy to pick up and is my most replayed classic mega man game along with 2 and 3.

Disappointing after 9. Mega man 10 is on the lower tier of the classic mega man games for me. Being able to play as proto man and bass is cool, but the levels are not as memorable and don't feel as rewarding to complete as 9's levels.

The soundtrack is also weaker and the robot master weapons are nowhere near as good as 9's.

Fun but frustrating at times. Mother 1 is an old school NES JRPG. If you go into it with that mindset you will probably enjoy it.

It's still super charming and the characters are fun, but the opening few hours can be a little rough and the grinding can be tedious.

Overall it's still really enjoyable despite it's dated parts. It feels really good getting through a difficult patch and the final boss is cool and has a unique resolution.

I want to love DK64 more than I do, but it's just so bloated and frustrating at parts.

The DK rap is great, the new characters are great, the music is great, the final boss is fun (even if it does go on a little long), and the glitches are really fun to mess around with.

I don't mind collecting a lot of things, but DK 64 is a step down from Banjo Kazooie in that regard.

The backtracking is not as egregious as something like Tooie, once you get a kong you can get pretty much all of their collectibles on your first visit to a level and the levels are not as bloated as Tooie's.

The minigames and some of the golden bananas are where things kind of start to fall apart. There are a few mini games that just don't work (beavers....) and a few golden bananas are just obnoxious and made even harder with the fixed framerate of the wii u port.

Still fun at times, but it's a little intimidating to go back to.

Lanky and Chunky Kong are excellent editions to the DK lore though and Tiny Kong kind of breaks the DK timeline in weird ways in future games.

Still waiting for Nintendo to release a game explaining the time shenanigans that led to Tiny Kong growing faster than Dixie

2014

Scariest piece of horror media I've ever experienced.

Still mad we'll never get Silent Hills, but at least I still have P.T. on my PS4

I have a lot of fun memories playing this as a kid. Game still kicks my ass at points now.

Fun platforming, still looking for someone to play through the story again in co-op.

Really funny and endearing! Some of the gimmicks get a little frustrating (looking at you lava surfing with the janky dinosaur hitboxes).

Soundtrack slaps, it fits the world so perfectly and is really upbeat and catchy.

Humor is super dark and constantly changing. It's just a really unique and fun experience.

I completed this game twice in Donkey Kong 64. It's fine, but the fall damage height can feel a little weird and inconsistent.
