@Funbil - Hey not everyone has such a cool name as Fayt Leingod, Noctis Lucis Caelum, or Shing Metoreye. Some heroes are just called Dave XD

In Xenoblade 3 proper the main character also has a normal name, Noah, in a game with Taion, Eunie, Mio, Lanz, Sena and Ghondor.

FFXIII-2 has Noel (and arguably Serah), which is a Far Cry from FFXIII's Lightning, Hope, Sazh, Vanille, Fang, and Snow.

Tbh I feel like 1/3rd of the Unicorn Overlords cast is on par with the 3 already listed. Bruno? Bryce? Chloe? Fran? Maybe Celeste and Scarlett sit in the grey area between "normal name" and "fancy name" but then you got Gilbert and Virginia, Hermann, Hilda, Jeremy, Leah, Liza, Monica etc, etc, etc
(For some reason the wiki includes a literal Nigel but I dont remember this character at all)

Rpg Maker VX's first character was named Ralph. There's over 1,000 little rpgs starring a Ralph because of that. :)
@SkeletonHouse - I would put Serah as the main character and was going to pass this up but looking it apparently is a hebrew / Jewish name traditionally meaning 'star' so I'm going to count it. Nice call.

@_YALP - So I'm aiming more for the lead protagonist, shared if it's really not obvious. I haven't played Unicorn Overlord yet but a quick look and the main protagonist is Alain? It might have to come off the list.
Probably the right call boss, Unicorn Overlord doesnt seem to be fitting the theme. Too many Nigel, almost no Edges.
