While I still think 2 is the best Crysis, this still has some good in it. It's very evidently made to appeal to a large audience, and was certainly trend chasing at the time of its release. The main problem with it is how easy it is, I would say. Invisibility completely nullifies all aggro, and is very cheap to pull off. Story was also just mediocre. Lots of big set pieces were present, but nothing like the interconnected crumbling city of 2. Its nothing for the history books, but it's not BAD. Also ties up the series nicely, if you care. Only bad thing to say about it is the frames dip into very low territory occasionally.

It is exceedingly obvious that so much care has been put into this game, so much attention to detail. It is a shame that the gameplay failed to catch me, beautiful and intricate as everything else was.

Strange game with an experimental system. I respect the idea of the constellation system, but when a lady asked me if she could trust me, I signed out "DANGER" & "BAD" and she said, "yea, you're right, bad things will happen if I don't listen to you" I became a bit exasperated and disillusioned with the amount of choice I had. Since you don't actually get to see the grotto either, I didn't feel any need to repeat my playthrough to change its outcome.

Crazy amount of stuff to do, and it's constantly being updated. Mod support is huge too, making it very hard to get bored. I always come out of multiplayer with a new friend or a story.

Listen to "The Cyber Grind" from the OST. That is just the training mode music.

Like a rhythm game without the rhythm. Get into the flow and start slicing. Your reflexes aren't the only sharp things around here.

Live, Die, Learn, Repeat. Standard fare. Except Spelunky 2 perfects each of those parts until they've made the one and only roguelike game you'll ever need again.

Game is unbalanced as hell :{ But that's what makes it fun ¬‿¬ Plus the moment to moment gameplay is really conducive to flow state. The gun sounds are all expertly crafted to fit into the rhythm and make you feel cool. Just play like 10 games before making your judgement.

Maybe it's because I have gone several years without playing a proper Triple A style game, but I found Atomic Heart better than how others reviewed it. Combat, graphics, and soundtrack are top notch of course, but the story was terrible. It moved the game along, and that was it. The sense of growing power was satisfying, if maybe a bit too intense with how fast it is if you scavenge a lot. If you're mostly judging whether or not to play based on the trailer campaign, then give it a shot. The cool factor and vibes of the game are really well executed. Plus it's included with game pass.

Also, play with Russian audio...

Polished, but once you get a grasp on it, there's only one puzzle. Make thing big or make thing small. I beat it in less than two hours.

2022

Walking sim is the correct term, if you heard that about the game and were wondering. Game is beautiful, but moment to moment gameplay is dull. Puzzles are always minigames or "do this to do this to do this to do this" chain style puzzles. I just wish it did better.

Not gonna give a star rating because it's evidently not for me, but it's clear that Chained Echoes has had immense care put into each part of it, and you can feel that in the art, music, ground battles, and worldbuilding. If you like turn based games, please give it a try.

I have only met Hugo 8 hours ago but if anything happens to him I will kill everyone in this room and then myself.

So good. Tells so many messages and explores a huge web of consequences inside The Eye, a dense station filled with life based on a hunk of iron. Because despite everything, if you keep going, if you keep believing in a future, it will come to you.

The universal solvent haunts my dreams. 10/10
