I have never played such a poorly designed multiplayer in a minute. To the terrible onboarding and the confusing multiplayer setup and also the fact that it takes a lot of fucking work just to get into a match. It is genuinely just an overall bad time. And you know ill concede I am hopping on the third entry of a series I only played very sparingly throughout the years but still what an experience that is not at all welcoming. I knew I was gonna get stomped but I have never felt so lost in a multiplayer experience as a whole. Also with just the poor servers feeling like I constantly disconnect and the atrocious map design I really couldn't get behind this game. Also this review stands for the multiplayer portion of the game because that is indeed the main focus. The weapon balance sucks dick, the map design is confusing and not cohesive with several map elements not being conveyed and only existing on certain maps. While having unique map gimmicks is cool and works in a lot of shooters it kind of just doesn't help this game's case of confusion. Really wanted to try to like this game but unfortunately I kind of hated my overall time with it. Im sure splatoon fans like this game so its not like my opinion will really change their minds and it may seem overall very bitter and spiteful in this review but its kind of me trying to give my genuine shot into a series I heard so much of. Just if you've never really played one of these just really think about it and watch more of the game is what i'd say.

What a disappointment to put this here with that rating but I have to. The first 3 worlds of this game are honestly a really fun time and I enjoyed myself. Then world 4 happens. Where the game slows to a CRAWL. With me constantly being out of ammo and every big room encounter with the thought of "please don't be too long of a fight". Before I got to the final boss of World 4 I went "okay surely this is the end" and then beat the boss and was greeted with another world. Played a bit of the first level of world 5 and realized I was done. Such a promising game at the start but proceeds to just throw more and more annoying enemies at you coupled with annoying level design where you're fighting hordes on tiny little platforms. Also what's with the focus on platforming in this game that very much struggles with said platforming? It makes me sad because I feel burned, the first part of this game had me really interested and the style and the world was really cool and well done. Despite all that I said if you want to put up with the REALLY lackluster backhalf go right ahead. For now and probably forever I don't care to finish the game. Despite all my gripes I think the devs have something genuinely promising on their hands and if they can refine it and make a whole game feel as good as the first 3 worlds and even better? Then the sequel is gonna be amazing. I wish the team the best of luck.

This game was a real pleasant surprise! At the end of the day it's just a visual novel but a very calming one at that. With very relaxing vibes, with some amazing music, and being able to make your own coffee blends without just ruining the game (there is a good vs bad ending tho for not doing the right drinks). Assuming a role of a barista who just listens in to just everyday conversations of your customers. The character interactions are cute and I love the designs of them! I'm a big fan of the pixel art style aswell. Overall great time if you're into this type of game and a recommend to anybody that is!

Look a woman can admit when she was wrong and I'll say it. I was wrong about this game. When this game first cameout I kind of immediately put it down. I was lost and after 3 hours I gave up and went "man this game is fucking boring". Now after 6 fucking years I decided to give it another shot and man. What a video game. I think also what hindered my enjoyment really was me kind of hardcore comparing it to older zelda games which while some things are zelda staples this game is a MASSIVE departure from the usual. I will say after 6 years it is a shock how little I knew of what was in this game. I guess that's what you get when the most you saw is the occasional clip of somebody sprinting to ganon off game start or them bomb launching themselves across the map. So it felt like how everybody else felt day one where everything was new. I was shocked to how well some of the shrines were because of how many there are. Plus the divine beasts felt like true dungeons that were fun to figure out. The big like "oh!" moment I'd get a lot from this game when I figured out a solution and it was very creative was a treat. I enjoyed how this game expands on the story as a whole of hyrule. The supporting cast being very memorable characters that helped add to the world of Hyrule. This game truly was a treat of a video game. I will say now I get it and I am 100% on board for Tears of the Kingdom

I have realized through my orion grind that these devs dont care for the well crafted game they have made so why the fuck should I.

This is the perfect remake. Keeping the energy of the original with just adding on more shit on top. This is now the best way to play one of the greatest video games of all time

I'm sorry mega man fans, this game is rad. From the sprite work and the cool robot master designs. To the little references in some of the stages and how each robot master's power interacted with each stage. Fuck Inafune for that last wily capsule tho

Obviously I think me playing through this with a friend helped a lot with my feelings of the game as a whole but I can say wholeheartedly this is a pretty mediocre zombie game. And I think that this type of game obviously 10 years removed from it's release seems drawn out but was big for the zombie craze at the time. Fun time with friends but overall very meh experience. Last mission is fuckin annoying though

I think this game honestly ties with 2 for me and retroactively makes 4 and 5 worse because this is a better version of those games. With adding new shit and making the robot masters have cool designs. Overall a great ending to the NES rra of this series

Definitely a post megaman 3 NES era megaman game

I definitely think this is just a mega man game. I do think due to the passage of time this one might've been hit the hardest because this was the era of manuals so you can imagine my surprise playing this through the legacy collection and finding out 20 things at the end I could do. I did not know about the mega buster charge until the 2nd to last boss I beat in boss rush LMAO. I think overall this game and 3 can be substituted for the other. I think i'll unfortunately hit that roadblock with the next two games aswell where these games start to blend with eachother. While liking this game more than 3 overall I will give it the same rating because I won't give it the same score as 2 but overall a way more fun game than 3.

I think overall I like the improvements that were made to the game as a whole mechanic wise but thought it was a weaker game overall to 2. Some bosses had fun gimmicks and the twist of having old bosses while cool felt like just padding. Overall still a solid game and am excited to see how the series changes around new mechanics

Played through this with a friend of mine. Was a very enjoyable time! I am kind of a shill for anything bat family related that expands more on their relationships and this game did that for me. While everything in this game can be boiled down to a very "okay" feeling I still enjoyed it. With some of the bosses having interesting gimmicks and the different set pieces looking really cool when interacting with some of the rogue's gallery. Overall really solid time and recommend buying it on sale (28$ rn on ps5 if you have ps plus ends on the 1st of march though)

What a step up from 1, levels are a lot more fun and the bosses feel more fun to figure out. Wily stages made me go HUH a few times with twists I didn't expect. Overall way better experience than 1 and is crazy how much better it is compared to the original.

Definitely a NES game and the first mega man game
