The entire series. I mean, it is literally about history, so of course.
May seem weird to mention Star Wars at first, but start talking about anything related to the Force and the moral greyness between The Jedi and The Sith.

While the game itself hardly has any story, the main inspiration for the setting was The Guns of Navarone, an movie about soldiers infiltrating an Nazi-dominated island.

In spite of everything, this game's themes is all about the chinese government. This also applied to The Story of Kamikuishiki Village, though dealing with an different topic that is still somewhat related to politics.
