"Oh no!!! Politics are invading videogames!!!"

If anybody says politics are somehow invading video games, show them this list.

For series with more than three games, I will choose the most representative of each series, like Metal Gear Solid and Bioshock.

I accept suggestions to the list too.

The entire series
The entire series. Just mentioning the "first" (barring Castle Wolfenstein), as it is the most well known one.
Most of the series
May seem weird to mention Star Wars at first, but start talking about anything related to the Force and the moral greyness between The Jedi and The Sith.
This also apply to the movies (preferably the OT and PT).
The entire series
While the game itself hardly has any story, the main inspiration for the setting was The Guns of Navarone, an movie about soldiers infiltrating an Nazi-dominated island.
Most of the series.
The entire series. I mean, it is literally about history, so of course.
Based on the novel of the same name.
Most of the series.
In spite of everything, this game's themes is all about the chinese government. This also applied to The Story of Kamikuishiki Village, though dealing with an different topic that is still somewhat related to politics.

There's a ton of games on this massive list that would probably fit; just picking a few more or less at random:

The Prisoner
Fahrenheit 451
A Mind Forever Voyaging
Balance of Power
La femme qui ne supportait pas les ordinateurs
Hidden Agenda
Caper in the Castro

...and that's without even getting out of the '80s haha. Great list! Might end up being quite long though :D
